This study aims to identify the relationship between CEO narcissism on CSR decoupling with the moderating role of institutional ownership. For data, the collection probability sampling technique has been used. Data from 183 non-financial firms registered at the Pakistan Stock exchange has been collected for the duration of 2013-2019. Correlation and panel data regression analysis has been used for data analysis. The findings of the current study suggest that there is a positive link between CEO narcissism and CSR decoupling. Moreover, institutional ownership negatively moderates the relationship between CEO narcissism and CSR decoupling. In the present research, CEO duality and CEO tenure have been used as proxies to evaluate CEO Narcissism for the first time. Moreover, Institutional ownership has also not been studied as a moderator between CEO Narcissism and CSR Decoupling before. The outcomes of this study are important for stakeholders as CEO narcissism can affect the CSR practices of the firm, and the market performance of the firm can also be affected. It is also important for top management to work on personality traits that are undesirable for themselves, company performance, and other stakeholders in general.

Background: The term "burnout syndrome" was first introduced in the late 90s to describe the psychological and physical exhaustion among workers caused by chronic and repetitive exposure to occupational stressors. Among students, it can be defined by three dimensions characterized by emotional exhaustion (EE), cynicism, and reduced personal accomplishment (PA). Previous literature suggests that burnout may slowly evolve and develop over the years throughout medical schools. We aimed to evaluate the prevalence of burnout syndrome and depression among medical students, as well as their determinants. Methods: Data were collected from medical students of second-sixth year during the academic year of 2021- 2022 at King Abdulaziz University (KAU). A self-administered questionnaire formulated based on the information provided by the Maslach Burnout Inventory, Raosoft sample size calculator, and Statistical Package for the Social Sciences Statistics version 21 were used for data collection, sampling, and data analysis. Results: A total of 263 students were analyzed. The overall prevalence of burnout was 26.2%. Almost twothirds of the participants were females 62.4%. Female gender has prevalence of 32.9% compared to males 15.2% with p value of 0.001. The mean SD scores of the EE was 23.8 10.6, depersonalization (DP) 14.4 9.2 and PA 25.9 10.7 EE were prevalent among 33.5% of students, and DP was high among 56.7% of them. PA was low among 73.4% of students. Conclusion: This study proved that students in KAUH demonstrated significantly lower prevalence of burnout among its medical students, with a percentage of 26.2 only. Although statistically significant, this number is incomparable with previous similar studies done in different regions of Saudi Arabia. Burnout has been shown to be strongly associated with the female gender, and higher prevalence was noted among clinical years students compared to preclinical ones. These aforementioned findings suggest that burnout slowly evolves and develops over the years throughout medical school.

Abstract: Energy generation from renewable sources and effective management are two critical challenges for sustainable development. Biofuel Cells (BFCs) provide an elegant solution by com-bining these two tasks. BFCs are defined by the catalyst used in the fuel cell and can directly gener-ate electricity from biological substances. Various nontoxic chemical fuels, such as glucose, lactate, urate, alcohol, amines, starch, and fructose, can be used in BFCs and have specific components to oxide fuels. Widely available fuel sources and moderate operational conditions make them promise in renewable energy generation, remote device power sources, etc. Enzymatic biofuel cells (EBFCs) use enzymes as a catalyst to oxidize the fuel rather than precious metals. The shortcoming of the EBFCs system leads to integrated miniaturization issues, lower power density, poor operational sta-bility, lower voltage output, lower energy density, inadequate durability, instability in the long-term application, and incomplete fuel oxidation. This necessitates the development of non-enzymatic bio-fuel cells (NEBFCs). The review paper extensively studies NEBFCs and its various synthetic strat-egies and catalytic characteristics. This paper reviews the use of nanocomposites as biocatalysts in biofuel cells and the principle of biofuel cells as well as their construction elements. This review briefly presents recent technologies developed to improve the biocatalytic properties, biocompatibil-ity, biodegradability, implantability, and mechanical flexibility of BFCs.
