Med ett ökat antal API:er på internet ökar även behovet av anvisningar kring dessa. När användarna för API:er har olika nivåer av erfarenhet blir den nödvändiga dokumentationen och instruktionerna svårare att precisera från en utvecklares perspektiv. I detta projekt är målet att fastställa vad som utgör en bra dokumentation för ett API och tillämpa det för ett existerande API på begäran av Askås. Det befintliga materialet analyserades för att bygga en bättre förståelse för vilka API-anrop som stöttades, och skulle byggas om på ett sådant sätt att det skulle vara enkelt att implementera i Askås nya dokumentationssida. För att få klarhet kring vad som utgör bra API-dokumentation undersöktes fältstudier. Givet detta kunde arbetet utföras enligt etablerade studier tillsammans med kontinuerlig feedback från uppdragsgivaren. With this, the project could be executed according to the examined studies, as well as feedback from the client. The result is a tool that can be used to make API calls where the parametres are explained in a dynamic fashion - developed in React, expressed in Docusaurus, waiting to be merged into Askås new documentation site.

Rapporten behandlar utvecklingen av ett system som möjliggör för rapportering och granskning av avfallsdata. Systemet består av en mobilapplikation och en webbapplikation som utvecklats med React Native respektive React, en databas som utvecklats med MySQL och en back-end bestående av tjänster som erbjuds av Amazon Web Services. This paper suggests a state-of-the-art architected solution for a global Automated cross-border mutual legal assistance system within Digital Forensic (AUTOMLA). The Enterprise framework with technical viewpoint enables international collaboration between sovereign countries Fusion Centers. I denna studie jämförs JavaScript-biblioteket React mot Joomla på en e-commerce webbsida. Tillämpningen på e-commerce webbsidan är bokhandel. I implementationen skapades det två webbsidor. En med React och den andra med Joomla. Webbsidan använder sig även av Bootstrap som CSS-ramverk för att få samma layout. Detta är viktigt då mätningen utförs i en kontrollerad miljö där det är viktigt att allting utgår ifrån samma förutsättningar. Mätningen sker genom ett eget skript som körs genom Tampermonkey tillägget i Chrome. Aktier och tillhörande finansiell information är en komplex typ av data och med hjälp av linjediagram blir det möjligt att visualisera denna data. I detta arbete utförs en jämförelse mellan klient- och serverbaserad programmering där det skapas en applikation i React och eni Python. Jämförelsen utförs för att ta reda på vilken form av programmering det är som renderar linjediagram med kortast svarstid. This work examined the state of accessibility in React UI component libraries. The accessibility of these libraries is essential since they are used to create the frontend of hundreds of thousands of projects. We conducted a controlled experiment to evaluate the accessibility of six open source libraries. We selected libraries based on GitHub dependents intervals to include libraries with varied use. In the experiment, we implemented a UI for each library with a few standard components. We then tested these UI implementations based on WCAG 2.1 and WAI-ARIA 1.1 with automated testing using Axe and manual test cases. We also used exploratory testing with the screen reader NVDA to detect issues based on actual use with an assistive device. We also conducted a literature review to support the experiment and the following discussion and conclusions of its results. We detected 50 accessibility issues in total and all libraries had one or more issues. Also, that there was a significant difference in the accessibility of libraries. The second interval had the least number of issues and was closely followed by the first interval with the most dependents. The two libraries selected from the interval with the least dependents had the most issues. We recommend developers not using libraries from the interval with the least dependents for public web products. Since all libraries had one or more issues, we also recommend developers choose libraries with care to ensure accessibility, WCAG 2.1 compliance, and follow WAI-ARIA 1.1. This work was limited to six libraries and a few components; there are many more of both. Another limitation was that the testing was limited to a desktop resolution and did not include mobile testing. Also, the work used the free version of Axe, and a paid version could potentially detect more accessibility issues.

This report deals with the development of the historical maps web application for a company that works to preserve the cultural heritage of old maps. The goal of the project has been to create a proof of concept for a web application that allows the user to view and interact with historical maps. As well as taking part in the history and facts behind the maps, areas and points of interest within the maps. Work on the application has begun with the foundational design, such as flowchart, mood board and design sketches for the application. Based on these, a proof of concept is developed in the form of an interactive web application written in React with additional libraries such as Materials UI for user interface and Leaflet for interactive map functions. For facts content, fetch calls are made to the Wikipedia API. Trade-offs have had to be made regarding implemented functionality in this first version of the web application, in order to represent how the interactiveness with the maps can work while also demonstrating potential future functionality. The finished application achieves the purpose of the assignment as proof of concept. Interactivity in the maps and connections between the maps are implemented, along with static elements that exists to represent future possibilities. En els últims anys s'ha normalitzat la inclusió de les tecnologies en l'àmbit familiar, normalitzant la implementació de sistemes domòtics dintre de casa. El desenvolupament dels sistemes per part de les grans corporacions suposa deixar vulnerable la privadesa de l'usuari. Per aquest motiu s'ha optat per a la creació d'un sistema domòtic complet de codi obert i segur. Aquests sistemes es compon en tres apartats diferents: els dispositius Internet of Things (IoT), la plataforma de control i la interfície de l'usuari. Per a la unificació dels tres, s'ha implementat un sistema de comunicació per a mantenir, analitzar i retransmetre les dades. La privadesa i seguretat de les dades es basa a assegurar que les comunicacions no són visibles per a un individu extern al sistema. La seguretat en les comunicacions s'ha dut a terme utilitzant els últims protocols de xifratge a partir d'un sistema de certificats i autentificacions. Pel que fa al control de les dades que es generen dintre del sistema, aquestes s'han emmagatzemat únicament en el servidor i s'ha restringit l'accés per evitar l'extracció no permesa de dades. Un cop creats els tres apartats del sistema domòtic i implementada la comunicació entre ells s'ha obtingut una fluïdesa molt bona en totes les comunicacions, i a més una càrrega màxima suficient per a mantenir una gran quantitat de dispositius IoT. Finalment, es pot afirmar que s'ha aconseguit dur a terme un sistema domòtic òptim, que manté el control dels dispositius IoT de forma autònoma, permetent a l'usuari interactuar amb aquests de forma segura i fluida., In recent years, the inclusion of technologies in society has been standardised, normalising home automation systems. The development of these systems by large private corporations results in exposing and leaving vulnerable the user privacy. Therefore, this project describes the creation and implementation of a completely open-source and secure home automation system. Home automation systems consist of three elements: Internet of Things (IoT) devices, the control platform and the user interface. The communication system has been implemented to unify the three elements to maintain, analyse, and retransmit the data. Data privacy and security ensure that communications are not visible to an individual outside the system. Security in communications has been carried out using the latest encryption protocols supported by a system of certificates and authentications. The control of the data generated within the system has been stored only on the server, restricting access to prevent unauthorised data extraction. As a result of creating the three sections of the home automation system and the implementation of communication between them, excellent fluidity has been obtained in all communications. Additionally, the resulting system supports more components than the required to implement a smart home. Finally, an optimal home automation system has been achieved, which maintains control of IoT devices autonomously, allowing the user to interact with them securely and smoothly.

The rapid evolution of modern chipsets and sensors has led to most modern smartphones are capable of providing an Augmented Reality (AR ) experience. Recent advancements in web development have made it possible to leverage the mobile device’s AR capabilities and deliver immersive content directly in the browser. The web-based immersive content may constitute a future platform for instructions and tutorials. This paper aims to implement a prototype consisting of an instruction leveraging web-based AR. The prototype was evaluated in a comparison against a video-based counterpart. The comparison was performed by a user study conducted on a total of 20 test participants. The results suggest that there is great potential for tutorials in web-based AR.

Por ello, se ha diseñado e implementado una aplicación web que permita facilitar la reserva de habitaciones y la gestión interna de este tipo de hoteles. La aplicación permite el registro de hoteles de pequeño tamaño para facilitar a los usuarios individuales realizar búsquedas para localizar aquellos que mejor se ajusten a sus necesidades, así como realizar reservas o adquirir los productos y servicios que tienen disponibles. Una vez ejecutada una reserva, la aplicación permitirá también gestionar al personal del hotel la entrada y salida de los huéspedes así como la cuenta de gasto en función de los servicios del hotel que consuman durante su estancia. La aplicación pretende reducir el esfuerzo que supone estar entrando en diferentes webs para localizar los hoteles y comparar los precios de estos. De este modo, un usuario puede filtrar los hoteles que desee, ya sea por el nombre del mismo o por la dirección de destino del viaje, desde un mismo sitio web. [Resumen]: Los servicios de ayuda social a domicilio prestados por ayuntamientos presentan características específicas, lo que complica la utilización de un soporte software genérico para ayudar en su gestión. Por este motivo, la actual organización de los turnos de trabajadores, en algunos ayuntamientos, se realiza de forma manual por parte del gerente, ayudándose de hojas de cálculo. Además, si algún trabajador requiere información sobre horarios, tareas o características de los pacientes, solo puede comunicarse con la gerencia en horario de mañana, lo que dificulta la obtención de información durante otro momento del día. El objetivo del proyecto es proporcionar un sistema ajustado al dominio, que evite las inconsistencias de las diversas fuentes de información. De esta manera el trabajo de los gerentes del ayuntamiento se ve facilitado, ya que la información de los pacientes y trabajadores se encuentra en una misma aplicación. La consulta de la información de los pacientes y tareas asignadas por parte de los trabajadores se vuelve más cómoda, posibilitando su obtención en cualquier momento del día. The purpouse of the project is to provide a system adjusted to the domain, which avoids the inconsistences of the various sources of information. In this way the work of the city manager is facilitated, since the information of patients and workers is in the same application. Consultation of patients information and assigned tasks by workers becomes more comfortable, making it possible to obtain them at any time of the day. Furthermore, the application provides a type of user used by patients and/or their families, that allows them to see which tasks have been programmed and who will be in charge of performing them. The system will be designed and implemented as a web application, using SpringBoot/JPA in the backend and a SPA (Single Page Application) using Javascript (React + Redux) in the frontend.

Però hi ha una forma lògica que ens permeti desenvolupar les dues aplicacions en una? Quina és la forma de compartir el màxim codi possible? Aquest és l'objectiu principal d'aquest TFG. Investigar, provar i concloure amb quina és la millor forma de reduir la quantitat de temps dedicat a construir múltiples projectes i no morir en l'intent. "The Definitive GTD methodology platform" és un TFG escrit pel Marc Ferreiro basat en la implementació d'una plataforma completa, amb aplicacions mòbil tant per iOS com per Android, una aplicació web per navegadors i una API al backend. L'objectiu principal de la plataforma és introduir a l'usuari i ajudar-lo a implementar la ben coneguda metodologia d'organització GTD (Getting Things Done), creada pel David Allen el 2001. Aquesta no és una plataforma com qualsevol altre. No és una simple aplicació de "To-Do's", ja que està focalitzada en GTD. S'han construït automatitzacions internes pensant en GTD. [Resumen] La finalidad del proyecto es proporcionar una aplicación web a los usuarios de los principales servicios de streaming (Netflix, HBO, Disney +, Movistar + o Prime Video) para que puedan llevar un seguimiento de las películas y series que vean, puntuarlas y comentarlas de forma que los usuarios puedan interactuar entre ellos. El Backend de la aplicación está desarrollado en Java EE usando el Framework de Spring Boot. Para la persistencia de datos usamos JPA y MySQL. Para la comunicación entre el backend y el Frontend de la aplicación se recurre a una API REST. El frontend consiste en una aplicación Single Page Application (SPA) implementada en Javascript, usando los frameworks React y Redux. Estos servicios de streaming no ofrecen ninguna API para poder consultar su catálogo. Sin embargo, existen APIs de terceros que sí lo hacen, aunque en general, no de forma gratuita. En el proyecto se usa una API que da información sobre el catálogo de Netflix de manera gratuita, pero limita el número de consultas diarias. The backend of the application is developed in Java EE using the Spring Boot framework. For data persistence we use JPA and MySQL. For the communication between the application’s backend and frontend we use a REST API. The frontend consists of a SPA application implemented in Javascript, using the React and Redux frameworks. [Resumen] En este Trabajo de Fin de Grado se ha desarrollado una aplicación web para el Análisis de Colecciones de Referencia sobre el Patrimonio Cultural extraídas de Redes Sociales. El trabajo está motivado por la cantidad de profesionales de la investigación que utilizan las redes sociales para llevar a cabo su trabajo, encontrando en estas redes grandes fuentes de información de las que obtener colecciones de referencia sobre sus temas de estudio. El análisis de estas colecciones de referencia de manera manual presenta inconvenientes para estos usuarios investigadores, como el tratamiento de lenguaje formal y el alto volumen de datos que pueden representar. Los profesionales en investigación necesitan tecnologías software de apoyo a su trabajo para solventar estos inconvenientes. Son necesarias herramientas con las que puedan tratar estas colecciones de referencia de manera ágil y que asistan al análisis y visualización de información sobre las mismas. Recientemente, investigadores de la UDC se han centrado en optimizar los mecanismos de creación de estas colecciones de referencia, extrayendo, por ejemplo, colecciones en temáticas sociales afines a patrimonio cultural, como el movimiento social Black Lives Matter. El sistema software que se pretende construir con este proyecto trata de procesar este tipo de colecciones de referencia que están en un formato no legible para un usuario no especialista en sistemas de información, sobre la temática mencionada. El sistema permite la detección, extracción y visualización de entidades nombradas en interfaces de mapas, así como datos y estadísticas a modo de dashboard web. Para el desarrollo del proyecto se ha seguido una adaptación de la metodología ágil Scrum, junto con otras prácticas en desarrollo ágil como Test Driven Development (TDD). The project is motivated by the number of research professionals who use social media as a datasource to conduct research on social and humanities fields, especially in cultural heritage sub-areas, finding in these networks great sources of information from which to obtain reference collections on their study topics. The manual analysis of these reference collections presents drawbacks for these research users, such as the treatment of formal language and the high volume of data available. Research professionals need software technologies to support their work to solve these drawbacks. Tools are needed with which they can deal with these reference collections in an agile way and assist in the analysis and visualization of information about them. Recently, UDC researchers have focused on optimizing the mechanisms for creating these reference collections, extracting, for example, collections on social issues related to cultural heritage, such as the Black Lives Matter social movement. The software system that is tried to be built with this project tries to process this type of reference collections that are in a format that is not readable for a non system information speciallist user, on the mentioned subject. The system allows the detection, extraction and visualization of named entities on map interfaces, as well as data and statistics as a web dashboard. For the project development, an adaptation of the Scrum Agile Methodology has been followed, along with other agile development practices such as Test Driven Development (TDD). Technologies such as Java, Spring, Hibernate, JavaScript, React, Redux, etc. have also been used; and development tools such as IntellijIDEA, Visual Studio Code, Gradle, Git and Taiga.

[Resumen] El objetivo de este proyecto es experimentar con las arquitecturas orientadas a microservi- cios. Para ello se implementará una plataforma web de contratación de servicios del hogar, que permitirá a el cliente registrarse, buscar servicios, solicitar su contratación y puntuarlos; mientras que el trabajador podrá ofrecer sus servicios y gestionar las solicitudes. La arquitecutra a tratar consiste en un conjunto de pequeños servicios que recogen la lógica de negocio de la plataforma. Al tratarse de servicios pequeños, favorece la escalibidad y el mantenimiento del sistema. El backend consiste en una nube de microservicios implementada en Java, con la ayuda de Spring Framework. Los datos serán guardados en MongoDB. En cuanto al frontend consistirá en dos aplicaciones web SPA implementada usando Ja- vaScript, apoyada en la librería React., [Abstract] The goal of this project is to experiment with microservices-oriented architectures. For this purpouse , a web platform for contracting home services will be implemented, that will allow the client to register, search for services, request their hiring and rate them;while the worker will be able to offer his services and manage the requests. The architecture to be treated consists of a set of small services that collect the platform business logic. This small services favors scalability and system maintenance. The backend consists of a cloud of microservices implemented in Java, with the Spring Framework help. The data will be saved in MongoDB. As for the frontend, it will consist of two SPA web applications implemented using JavaScript, with React library.

[Resumen] La motivación principal para realizar este trabajo ha sido la experiencia propia como jugador de baloncesto durante varios años. La cantidad de información que pueden llegar a manejar los distintos entrenadores de baloncesto en cada uno de sus diferentes equipos, cada uno con un gran número de jugadores a su cargo, es enorme, y resultaría de gran apoyo una aplicación específica para simplificar su gestión. Este trabajo ha consistido en el diseño e implementación de una aplicación web para llevar a cabo la gestión de los equipos de baloncesto en las categorías base, y así, facilitar el trabajo de los entrenadores en estas categorías más modestas. El objetivo principal de esta aplicación es poder llevar a cabo toda esta gestión de forma centralizada. Dicha aplicación, incluye múltiples funcionalidades, como el registro de todos los jugadores, equipos, entrenamientos y partidos, o, la visualización del conjunto de estadísticas de cada partido y de los propios jugadores. También incluye Bases de datos con una lista de lesiones que es probable que se produzcan en este deporte, así como una lista de ejercicios comunes que se usan en los entrenamientos y partidos. La aplicación también permite la visualización de los jugadores por diferentes criterios, como la posición dentro de la cancha o por el tipo de lesión sufrida por cada uno, o directamente por jugadores lesionados, la gestión de las convocatorias a los partidos y las asistencias a los propios entrenamientos. The amount of information that can be handled by different basketball coaches in each of their different teams, each with a large number of players in their charge, is enormous, and a specific application to simplify their management would be of great support. This work has consisted in the design and implementation of a web application to carry out the management of basketball teams in the base categories, and thus, facilitate the work of coaches in these more modest categories. The main objective of this application is to carry out all this management in a centralized way. This application includes multiple functionalities, such as the registration of all players, teams, trainings and matches, or the visualization of the statistics of each match and of the players themselves.It also includes databases with a list of injuries that are likely to occur in the sport, as well as a list of common exercises used in training and matches. The application also allows the visualization of players by different criteria, such as the position on the court or by the type of injury suffered by each one, or directly by injured players, the management of the calls to the matches and the attendances to the training sessions themselves. The main frameworks used for the implementation are Spring Boot, Hibernate and React. MySQL was used as database.

[Resumen] La finalidad de este proyecto es el desarrollo de una nueva funcionalidad para una herramienta de intranet de la empresa Trabe Soluciones S.L. La funcionalidad implementa un prototipo para la gestión de documentos de la empresa en un formato markdown utilizando almacenamiento Git. Markdown es un tipo de formato de texto enfocado en facilitar la escritura en internet. La herramienta permite: • Visualizar los documentos existentes y sus autores. • Modificar la documentación. • Crear versiones. • Previsualizar. • Almacenar en repositorios Git. Al usar Git y markdown, se consigue trabajar de dos maneras con los documentos: el acceso mediante un cliente Git y mediante el uso de la User Interface (UI) de la aplicación. La indústria dels videojocs ha estat sempre en evolució des que va aparèixer a la dècada de 1940 i un dels futurs als quals apunta la indústria és al cloud gaming. És en aquest sector en el que es troba Ludium Lab, l'empresa amb la què s'ha realitzat aquest projecte. Ludium Lab desenvolupa una plataforma cloud gaming que ofereix el servei d'aplicacions en streaming. Concretament ofereix un catàleg de jocs per tal que els usuaris puguin jugar-los mitjançant un programa sense la necessitat de tenir-los instal·lats al seu mòbil, tablet o ordinador. Aquest projecte buscava oferir als usuaris la possibilitat de gestionar les seues partides, que es troben emmagatzemades al cloud. Per tal de dur a terme aquest objectiu s'han programat dos elements. Un és una secció nova afegida a la web de l'empresa que permet als usuaris gestionar les partides d'una manera fàcil i intuïtiva. El següent element és una API que s'encarrega d'accedir a S3 (servei cloud d'emmagatzematge de les partides) per tal de dur a terme aquelles gestions. Aquests elements i la connexió entre ells (frontend, API i servei cloud) és el que conforma aquest projecte., The video game industry has always been evolving since it appeared in the 1940s and one of the futures the industry is aiming for is cloud gaming. Ludium Lab, which is the company that this project has been developed with, is located in this sector. Ludium Lab delivers a cloud gaming platform that provides the service of streaming applications. They specifically offer a game catalog that allows users to play using a program without having to install these games on their mobile, tablet or computer. This project seeks to allow users the ability to manage their saved games, which are stored in the cloud. Two elements have been programmed to accomplish this goal. One is a new section added to the company's website that allows users to manage games easily and intuitively. The next element is an API that accesses S3 (cloud storage service) in order to carry out those procedures. These elements and the connection between them (frontend, API and cloud service) is what makes up this project.

It is used for optimization and partial automation of business processes. The system automatically extracts data from the inbox and classifies the received e-mails for processing. During the process, actions are delegated to the proper users through a defined workflow. This project aims to create an easily browsable interface with a collection of NDJSON formatted tweets from Twitter. In the Fall of 2020, 4 teams in CS5604 built a system to manage 3 of the University’s archive collections, of ETDs, Webpages, and Tweets. This system included a webpage front-end to serve these collections to users, as well as a feature for researchers and curators to manage data using a KnowledgeGraph and Apache Airflow. The one front-end team developing this website had a very large task and as such, they were unable to fully flesh out all its features. Specifically, the tweets portion of this website was lacking advanced searching functionality, as well as a clear interactive user interface. My project focused on extending the tweets functionality of this website and managed to accomplish this. My project features a GUI where users can search through the tweets collection and will have results displayed to them one at a time. In my implementation, I used React, CSS, and ElasticSearch. However, the website it is contained in also uses Docker, Flask, Kubernetes, and Python 3.6. The search fields are text, location, and a range search between two dates. When a query is conducted, results will be displayed to the user 5 at a time. Each tweet result contains both the information contained within the tweet result (i.e., username, display name, tweet text, date, favorites, replies, and retweets) as well as data on the user who published the tweet (i.e., total favorites, total posts, total followers, and a link to the source tweet). Also, if a tweet contains a hashtag, each of these are linked to a search on Twitter for that hashtag. This project can be used to browse an archive of tweets. It will be useful in querying tweets for research, such as searching for all tweets made about a subject that were posted from a certain location at a certain time.

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na vytvoření a nasazení webové aplikace, která bude automaticky kontrolovat odevzdané zdrojové kódy a vyhodnocovat je na základě vytvořených testovacích scénářů pro jednotlivé úlohy. Teoretická část se věnuje problematice webových aplikací, zejména jsou zde popsány používané technologie a architektury. Také jsou zde rozebrány techniky testování zdrojových kódů. Praktická část se zaměřuje na analýzu, návrh, implementaci a nasazení aplikace. Dále je zde podrobně popsán systém tvoření testovacích scénářů., Master's thesis is focused on creating and deploying web application. There are also analyzed techniques used for source code testing. Practical part is focused on analysis, design, implementation, and deployment of the application. Student navrhl a vytvořil, v souladu se zadáním, systém pro automatickou kontrolu odevzdávaných zdrojových kódů v jazyce JAVA. Aplikace byla otestována na vzorových příkladech ještě před nasazením do univerzitního prostředí. Všechny vydefinované cíle práce byly splněny. Dle oponenta se v práci vyskytlo několik nejasností a nepřesností, které by znemožnily bezpečné použití aplikace. Míra plagiátorství u psaného textu je méně nez 5%, u zdrojových souborů je shoda až 100%, což je způsobeno konfiguračními soubory apod. Diplomová práce není plagiátem.
