This paper presents the development of an intelligent bicycle system with automatic gear shifting based on the user’s physiological information and environment sensing. The sensor data are collected during the ride, uploaded to the cloud database, and analyzed using random forest to derive the appropriate riding requirement. Our proposed technique performs the automatic gear shifting operation using inexpensive sensor components and embedded system development boards. The gear shifting module is designed and installed as an external device for the off-the-shelf bicycle, without the need to dismantle or modify the body structure. A bicycle riding specific online management interface is developed for web access and administration. It allows the cloud data being displayed and let users acquire and understand their riding behaviors. The experiments and evaluation in the outdoor environment have demonstrated the feasibility of the proposed intelligent gear shifting system.

YouTube is an application that contains a variety of video content in which there are various kinds of videos, both non-academic and academic. With its ease of use, which only requires web access, YouTube is an application that can be used as a learning medium. Likewise with the level of use among students, it allows YouTube to be a media in learning. In this study, using a qualitative approach through a questionnaire to 14 students of Electronical Engineering at the Akademi Teknologi Industri Dewantara Palopo who were given 20 statements using the Likert Scale, it was found that 11 students (78.57 percent) of the students' high interest, 3 students (21.43 percent) of the students 'very high interest, and none of the students' moderate interest, low interest and very low interest. This shows that student interest in studying on YouTube is very high.

The Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) Guidelines Committee develops evidence-based guidelines for practicing surgeons using standard methodology. Our objective was to survey the SAGES membership regarding guidelines’ quality, use, and value and identify topics of interest for new guideline development. An anonymous online survey was emailed in October 2019 to SAGES members. Respondents were asked 18 questions on their use and evaluation of SAGES guidelines and SAGES reviews and to provide suggestions for new guideline topics and areas of improvement. The survey was open for 6 weeks with a 3-week reminder. Of 548 responders, most were minimally invasive (41%) or general surgeons (33%). There was an even distribution between academic (46%) and non-academic practice (24% private practice, 23% hospital employed). Most used SAGES guidelines frequently (22%) or occasionally (68%) and found them to be of value (83%), above average quality (86%), and easy to use (74%). While most stated it was important (35%) or very important (58%) that SAGES continues to follow “rigorous guidelines development processes,” common suggestions were for more timely updates and improved web access. Of 442 overlapping topic suggestions, 60% fell into overarching categories of hernia, bariatric, robotic, HPB, and colorectal surgery. The SAGES guidelines are used frequently and valued by its users for their quality and content. Topics proposed by SAGES members and valuable insight from this survey can guide creation of new guidelines and refinement of established guidelines and processes.

These analytical advancements have facilitated the characterization of glycans associated with the follicle-stimulating hormones (FSH), which play a central role in the human reproductive system both in males and females utilizing regulating gonadal (testicular and ovarian) functions. The irregularities in FSH activity are also directly linked with osteoporosis. The glycoanalytical studies have been tremendously helpful in understanding the biological roles of FSH. Subsequently, the increasing number of characterized FSH glycan structures and related glycoform data has thrown a challenge to the glycoinformatics community in terms of data organization, storage and access. Also, a user-friendly platform is needed for providing easy access to the database and performing integrated analysis using a high volume of experimental data to accelerate FSH-focused research. FSH Glycans DataBase (FGDB) serves as a comprehensive and unique repository of structures, features, and related information of glycans associated with FSH. Apart from providing multiple search options, the database also facilitates an integrated user-friendly interface to perform the glycan abundance and comparative analyses using experimental data. The automated integrated pipelines present the possible structures of glycans and variants of FSH based on the input data, and allow the user to perform various analyses. Kondisi pandemic COVID-19 membuat kegiatan perkuliahan bergeser menjadi kuliah secara daring. Untuk kegiatan perkuliahan teori relative lebih mudah dilakukan, namun untuk kegiatan praktek diperlukan sarana untuk dalam bentuk suatu simulator plant. Pada penelitian ini buat suatu simulator plant berbasis web dengan menggunakan PLC Logo! Siemens. Tahap awal dari proses ini adalah pembuatan simulator dengan menggunakan PLC Logo! secara local. Simulator ini menggambar hubungan sejumlah input digital dan output digital, yang diprogram menggunakan perangkat lunak Logo! Softcomfort. Selanjutnya dikembangkan web base simulator dengan menggunakan perangkat web editor, sehingga simulator yang dibuat dapat diakses melalui akses web oleh mahasiswa. Pengujian yang dilakukan meliputi pengujian fungsional secara local dan pengujian akses perangkat secara daring oleh mahasiswa. We consider the problem of inferring the latency sensitivity of user activity in the context of interactive online services. Our method relies on natural experiments, i.e., leveraging the variation in user-experienced latency seen in the normal course. At its core, our technique, dubbed AutoSens, compares the distribution of latency of the user actions actually performed with the underlying distribution of latency independent of whether users choose to perform any action. This then yields a normalized user preference based on latency. We discuss ways of mitigating various confounders and then present our findings in the context of a large online email service, Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA).

A site traffic analysis study of 24 newspaper sites from OurDigitalWorld’s (ODW) digital newspaper collection and the Ontario Community Newspaper (OCN) aggregate site was completed between 2016 and 2018. Digital newspapers provide access to past and current heritage news, vital statistics, and newspaper clippings. Securing grants from government agencies is essential for local heritage organizations to launch, build, and maintain their digitization initiatives in order to ensure the continuity of local culture and heritage of the past to people of the future. Thus, assessing the impact of (e.g. site usage, Web presence) and routes of Web access to digital newspaper collections is important to determine promotional strategies to increase usage and awareness of the collections. Recommendations were made for ODW, public libraries, and heritage organizations to increase the Web presence and awareness of ODW’s digital newspaper collection and to educate users about the various uses of the newspaper sites. In among the page ranking algorithm uses web structure mining and web content mining to estimate the relevancy of a web site and not to deal the scalability problem and also visits of inlinks and outlinks of the pages. In recent days to access fast and efficient page ranking algorithm for webpage retrieval remains as a challenging. This paper proposed a new improved WPR algorithm which uses a Principal Component Analysis technique called (PWPR) based on mean value of page ranks. The proposed PWPR algorithm takes into account the importance of both the number of visits of inlinks and outlinks of the pages and distributes rank scores based on the popularity of the pages. The weight values of the pages is computed from the inlinks and outlinks with their mean values. But in PWPR method new data and updates are constantly arriving, the results of data mining applications become stale and obsolete over time. To solve this problem is a MapReduce (MR) framework is promising approach to refreshing mining results for mining big data .The proposed MR algorithm reduces the time complexity of the PWPR algorithm by reducing the number of iterations to reach a convergence point.

The number of phishing sites is increasing and becoming a problem. General phishing sites often have very short lives. Phishers are thought to construct phishing sites using tools such as phishing kits. Phishing sites constructed using the same tools have similar website structures. We propose a new method based on the similarity of website structure information defined by the types and sizes of web resources that make up these websites. Our method can detect phishing sites that is not registered with blocklists or do not have similar URL strings with targeting legitimate sites. In addition, our method can identify phishing sites that differed in appearance but have similar website structures. Our method is particularly effective for detecting phishing sites constructed by the same phishers or using the same tools, as our method identifies structural similarity between websites. We conducted an evaluation to confirm the correctness of our assumption using phishing sites constructed using phishing kits and the PhishTank dataset. We found a large number of phishing sites that were structurally similar to phishing sites constructed using phishing kits. We applied our method to web access logs provided by ordinary Japanese citizens, and detected some unknown phishing sites. We have also examined the possibility of improving our method based on the importance of web resources, determined using the number of occurrences in web access logs.

In this study, the modern technique is presented for mining web access utility-based tree construction under Modified Genetic Algorithm (MGA). MGA tree are newly created to deploy the tree construction. In the web access sequences tree construction for the most part relies upon internal and external utility values. The performance of the proposed technique provides an efficient Web access sequences for both static and incremental data. Furthermore, this research work is helpful for both forward references and backward references of web access sequences.

Network information security is becoming a vital topic for many companies and research institutes with big data. Information leakage via cyber is rising rapidly. Many companies and research institutes managers have not realized the significance of information security. This paper describes an investigation of anomaly detection. We measure the format and content of the original web access log. The intent is to analyze types of access and distribution of access types of each user and to transform them into the type that can be learned by the machine. With the transformed log, a neural network model can be put in place to learn how to detect an abnormal access log and alert the relative computer managers. The main goal is to design a model that can assist computer managers to do the anomaly detection job.

Regardless of the setting, edge computing has drawn much attention from both the academic and industrial communities. For edge computing, content delivery networks are both a concrete and production deployable use case. While viable at the WAN or telco edge scale, it is unclear if this extends to others, such as in home WiFi routers, as has been assumed by some. In this work-in-progress, we present an initial study on the viability of using smart edge WiFi routers as a caching location. We describe the simulator we created to test this, as well as the analysis of the results obtained. We use 1 day of e-commerce web log traffic from a public data set, as well as a sampled subset of our own site - part of an ecosystem of over 111 million users. We show that in the best case scenario, smart edge routers are inappropriate for e-commerce web caching.

Aim of this paper is to analyse possibility of cluster users of a selected network on the base of their browsing behaviour. Source of information is web access log file which consist of all the important information. Paper presents idea of pre-processing of information from a web access log file and it also presents K-means clustering algorithm used for identification of user groups on the base of their behaviour on the internet. Presented methodology can be used in the area of cyber defence also for other tasks.
