This research paper presents an empirical investigation into the nexus between cultural factors and entrepreneurial performance of small and Medium Scale Businesses in Nigeria. Africa is a continent dominated by Culture and culture affects daily sales and it also affects demands and supply as well as patronage of any business. This paper is aimed at investigating the effect of cultural factors on entrepreneurial performance as well as ascertaining the nature of relationship between cultural factors and entrepreneurial performance. This research adopted a descriptive survey method. This research used a quantitative approach to data gathering of 200 SME employees through a Likert scaled questionnaire for data analysis. The study concludes through its findings that social network capital, cultural factors, Risk-taking behavior and Work ethic and perseverance have a significant, positive and direct effect on entrepreneurial performance of SMEs in Delta state. The study also revealed that other cultural factors like Attitudes toward Failure and religious beliefs have a significant and direct effect on entrepreneurial performance of SMEs in Delta state. The research paper empirically showed that there is a great and significant relationship between cultural factors and entrepreneurial performance of SMEs in Delta state. The study has proven that people's culture does affect entrepreneurial performance. Therefore this study recommends that before setting up businesses in any location, a smart entrepreneur should first observe the culture of the people living in that geographical location of the proposed business to ascertain the kind of business that will be most appropriate for the culture of the people there. Coffee producers in Indonesia need help with product quality, capital, and marketing. This international Community Service activity aims to promote Lampung coffee to the Turkish coffee market and improve the quality of Lampung coffee production and marketing. The activities were carried out in Istanbul, Turkey, with participants consisting of lecturers and students of the Master of Accounting FEB University of Lampung and management/employees of Kahvegihbikahve, one of the SME's coffee producers in Istanbul, Turkey. The activity was carried out through three main stages: (1) Preparation: situation analysis, preparation of material, making brochures for Lampung coffee producers; (2) Implementation: providing material to participants discussion to strengthen understanding and application of the material. (3) Evaluation and Reporting: comprehensive evaluation of community service results so that the participants can get to know the characteristics and taste of coffee in two countries (Indonesia, especially Lampung coffee and Turkish coffee), can understand and learn strategies for increasing the quality and quantity of coffee products and their marketing. So, it can make a positive contribution to the Indonesian and Turkish economies by increasing exports of coffee products and expanding the introduction of Indonesian coffee culture and taste.

Based on interviews with tourism object managers, it was found that generation z tourists often take disgraceful actions by displaying behavior that pollutes and even damages tourist attractions. This study examines how much influence (tourist attitudes, subjective norms, expected behavioral control on tourist intentions), then examines the effect of tourist intentions on environmentally responsible tourism behavior and examines its effect on green lifestyles. This research is a type of quantitative research and primary data source. The population of this study is Generation Z tourists who have visited in the last three years. The samples obtained were 224 respondents. The data analysis technique in this study uses the Warp PLS (Partial Least Square) structural equation model. The results show that all hypotheses are accepted. Attitude, Subjective Norm, and Behavioral control that is felt to affect intentions. The higher the tourists' intention to be responsible for the environment, the better the behavior responsible for the environment. The results show that the better the behavior to be responsible for the environment, the higher the green lifestyle. With this research, it is hoped that it can raise awareness for the younger generation to be more concerned about environmental sustainability around tourism sites and participate in preserving the environment

The aims this research to test of transformational leadership and entrepreneurial orientation on SME's Performance through product innovation. Small and Medium Enterprises are one of the pillars and strengths that contribute to the Indonesian economy. The number of MSMEs in Kudus Regency is the lowest among the surrounding cities, only 990 MSMEs. MSMEs must be able to navigate changes in their business environment, which requires leaders who can take appropriate action. It is necessary to apply leadership styles, such as transformational leadership and innovate to improve the performance of MSMEs. Through Product Innovation and Entrepreneur Orientation, then MSMEs can keep up with developments in the era so they can present superior products that have a greater chance of attracting consumers. Data analysis uses the AMOS Structural Equation Model (SEM) using validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests which include confirmatory factor analysis normality tests, full measurement models, hypothesis tests and intervening tests. The results of this research are that transformational leadership and entrepreneurial orientation have a significant positive effect on SME's Performance. However, transformational leadership and entrepreneurial orientation have an insignificant positive effect on product innovation. Product innovation is able to partially mediate transformational leadership and entrepreneurial orientation on SME's Performance.

Fostering SMEs financial inclusion of is also one of the top priorities of State Bank of Pakistan and the Government of Pakistan. In this way, the State Bank of Pakistan has announced National Financial Inclusion Strategies (NIFS) under the banner of the NIFS 100days agenda in order to attain various targets including financial inclusion of SMEs by 2023. In this regard the research study is conducted to explore the barriers (demand and supply side) in the main stream of financial inclusion of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and to provide comprehensive ways and strategies for greater financial inclusion. To fulfill the research aims, the research used a qualitative technique followed by thematic approach. Semi-structured interviews with SMEs and banks were used to acquire primary data. The report reveals a number of demand side constraints that SMEs encounter, such as financial illiteracy, lack of collateral, lack of financial statements, lack of information about accessible financial products and services, and many others; the supply side barriers are arise from financial institutions while supporting SMEs include lengthy and complex procedure, demand of collateral, high transaction costs, and so on and other constraints. These demand-sides, supply-sides and other sides‘ barriers contribute to SMEs' reluctance to participate with formal financial channels. In response to these impediments, the research developed a number of formal financial channels. In response to these barriers, the research established various strategies that incorporate both demand-side, supply-side factors in order to form a flourishing environment for SMEs' inclusion in formal financial system. Governments often fund export promotion programmes (EPP) to aid businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in getting past any barriers they may face when trying to expand internationally. However, there is scant empirical evidence showing that these initiatives are successful. Drawing on the findings of a survey of SMEs in Uttar Pradesh, India, this study clarifies how EPP strengthen firms' export competence and activities. Based on 449 responses from registered exporters and Smart PLS-SEM, results show that perceived usefulness (PU), perceived market competencies (PM), and support mechanisms (SM) favour programme adequacy (PA) and directly affect the performance of the export. Furthermore, by elaborating on how EPPs can affect a company's export performance (EP), this research fills a void in the current literature by examining the results of EPPs in Uttar Pradesh from the vantage point of the firm as the unit of analysis. Context and purpose. Competition could have succeeded in performance and profitability through competitive advantages formerly, due to product/service performance, but today the competitive advantage has become a necessity and businesses are using of the collaboration network as an advantage. Therefore, the research seeks to investigate collaboration networks at the level of SME's companies located in Ahvaz.Methodology/approach. The social network analysis method is used. Cooperation data of companies, organizations and research centers is collected through conducting semi-structured interviews with 41 CEO. Cooperation analysis has done in detailed at distribution, marketing, R&D, production, and finance level to understand network opportunities better than usual.Findings and conclusions. The results show that despite the need to pay attention to cooperation between SME's, does not have a favorable situation. Collaboration network members are dependent on prominent actors who influence how firms interact. This situation threatens businesses weather in the short term or in the medium term. Therefore, it is better to examine and study scenarios and strategies to reduce dependence according to the dimensions of the collaboration network.Originality. Despite the importance of Social Network Analysis (SNA) method, studies conducted with this method are not significant. There is some studies which assessed the factors affecting collaboration network development. Therefore, the study seeks to expand its scope to the business level using this approach.

In this era of industrial revolution (IR 4.0), coupled with the emergence of the deadly global pandemic of COVID-19, organizations are compelled to embrace new strategies for their routine decision-making. Innovation is the core of organization policy and the lifeline of enterprises at the local and global market. There has been a huge amount of research on innovation and elements contributing to innovation performance; however, few of them built a theoretical model to research the correlations among organizational learning, innovation performance, self compassion and organizational performance. Based on the existing studies and literature at home and abroad and considering the development status of innovative enterprises, this paper decomposes organizational learning and organizational performance. Purpose: The aim of this study is to investigate the impact of digital leadership on sustainable performance, specifically focusing on the mediating role of artificial intelligence within the business environment. Design/Methodology/Approach: This study surveyed 230 employees from several industrial estate businesses using a case study technique. Questionnaires were used to collect the data, which was subsequently analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). The findings indicated that there is an indirect effect on long-term performance due to the multidirectional links between mediators and digital leadership. This study found, specifically, that AI and digital leadership greatly enhance inventive talents, which in turn enhances sustainable performance. Findings: This study's findings highlight the critical role that digital leadership plays in fusing sustainability and artificial intelligence, two concepts that when coupled have the potential to improve an organization's performance and productivity. Implications/Originality/Value: This study presents new insights into the role that technology skills and innovative digital behaviors play in achieving long-term performance.

Entrepreneurial orientation (EO) describes a firm's attitude towards entrepreneurial activity; however, it does not measure the specific behaviors likely to contribute to high growth. This research applies the resource-based and dynamic capabilities views to propose a mediation model between EO and high growth. The theoretical framework is drawn from the strategic management and entrepreneurship literature. Competing models are tested against a sample of Canadian SMEs to validate the proposed explanation for the presence of high-growth firms among the population. The study finds that the relationship between EO and high growth is perfectly mediated by innovation performance, a behavioral measure of innovation. This research contributes to firm growth theory while providing further insight into the drivers of high growth useful to policy makers endeavoring to stimulate, and overcome barriers to, entrepreneurship and innovation. Determining the factors associated with firm growth can have implications for management as well as policy. Information Technology (IT) is a resource for achieving strategic business objectives. However, many Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME’s) do not consider IT a strategic area. This article explores the perception of IT governance in Colombia among IT professionals. It presents the design, data analysis, and results of a survey based on the Governance of Enterprise IT framework. The survey was conducted in 2019 and 2020, obtaining responses from 151 IT professionals that worked in 48 SME's and 90 from large companies. Data were analyzed with WEKA and KNIME, applying classification, segmentation, and association techniques. Results indicate that: (1) SME’s associate IT investment with the generation and improvement of products and services; (2) employees’ and users’ performance is higher when they work in companies with managers that have a high commitment to IT governance; and (3) 95% of companies with high implementation levels of IT governance consider IT very important in their strategies.

Challenges faced by companies are increasingly greater, which is why decision making in production planning is a key factor for their continuity and competitiveness. One of the most affected sectors due to the increase of imports is the clothing industry, for this reason, we proposed a model of decision making in the production area. For its development, we applied the phases of acquisition, knowledge representation and decision making that determine an organizational Intelligence Model. In the acquisition phase, characteristics of the production systems were identified, highlighting the role that the machine has in the system survival, the decrease of the region's own product and the absence of knowledge and/or tools for production planning. In the next phase, the main components of the model are determined, in the last phase, the complete model is developed, and the computational tool applied for analysis, as well as related validation. A model focused on production planning was designed, which contemplates the needs of the companies in the region, generates information and projects future situations for decision-making. In the conditions of a dynamic environment, with numerous turbulences, an increasing number of companies are willing to invest in entrepreneurial and managerial training programs, which have a strong leadership component. What is also important is the trend we find in high-performing SMEs in European countries, where we find that the knowledge-based entrepreneur is beginning to significantly change his approach in relationships with others! Entrepreneurs are increasingly positioned within organizations, not necessarily as the ultimate decision maker, but rather as a facilitator. It acts as a turntable in the organization, connecting the organization and the various stakeholders that are components of the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Increasing the Productivity of Kampong Chicken in the Putra Budi SME’s Mojolaban District Sukoharjo Regency. Putra Budi Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) located in Bekonang Village, Mojolaban Subdistrict, Sukoharjo Regency, is a business unit owned by Mr Apri with traditional kampong chicken breeding with a capacity of 50-100 chickens/period. Mr Apri. Putra Budi SMEs is engaged in traditional village chicken farming with a capacity of 50-100 chickens/period. Mr Apri started this business 5 years ago, but the maintenance method is still simple and has not been carried out intensively so that the productivity is low. Chicken sales are carried out on a wholesale basis, causing lower prices. Providing feed that does not meet the standard needs of livestock. The main problem faced by Putra Budi SME’s lies in the management of native chicken maintenance which includes management of feed, cages, sanitation, selection of broodstock, and hatching which are carried out traditionally (extensively). This service aims to increase the business of native chicken cultivation by implementing intensive cultivation, diversifying the marketing pattern of native chickens, and being able to increase partner income. Some of the solutions offered are to provide broader knowledge about the management of domestic chicken rearing which is still extensive/traditional towards programmed intensive management. The result of this service activity is that SME’s can apply feed management by selecting feed raw materials around the location and the practice of compiling quality native chicken rations, broiler-type chicken maintenance systems that are free from dangerous diseases/viruses, increasing productivity, efficiency, and speed of return on investment, and can establish cooperation with restaurants or SMEs processing native chicken. Based on the economic analysis carried out, the maintenance of the Putra Budi village chickens with 200 chickens experienced a 5% depletion and earned a profit of IDR 1,400,000 per breeding period.

This study aims to investigate the relationship between social media marketing channel usage and business performance of SME’s along with the mediators of cost reduction, innovation, and marketing capabilities in the context of Pakistan. The research applies quantitative analysis via PLS-SEM for finding out the structural relationships among study constructs. The sample size consisted of 322 respondents who are either owners or workers at a decision-making level belonging to SMEs' in Pakistan. The purposive sampling technique is used to reach the respondents. The findings of the structural model indicate a statistically significant effect of social media marketing channel usage on the business performance of small business enterprises. The two mediating effects of cost reduction and innovation in between social media marketing channel usage and business performance proved statistically significant. Also, the moderating role of age in the relationship between innovation and business performance is supported by data. Further research may incorporate the role of moderators like culture to investigate the interaction effect of culture and social media marketing channel usage on the business performance of SME’s. The rapid development of information and communication technology through digital marketing has a role in the development of the new economy marked by the phenomenon of e-commerce platform based business. This opportunity is certainly very attractive for SMEs to develop wider market access. By utilizing this sales channel, it has a positive effect on transaction value for business actors. This study aims to determine the extent to which the interest of SMEs in using ecommerce platform services. This research paper is based on a quantitative approach using interviews and observation of data collection with the participation of 100 SMEs. These results confirm the hypothesis that the development of the value of ecommerce transactions, which is formed by the interaction of business sites as an indicator of supply and internet user as an indicator of demand and supply, contribute to an increase in the intensity of macroeconomic activity. The present work aims to analyze the influence of the use of Social Media (SM) tools in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the state of Tabasco, in order to propose a model that favors commercialization. Social networks as part of Digital Marketing (DM) and in particular SM, have become a very important marketing tool for the vast majority of companies. The internet, technological development and Social Media have caused a revolution in the world's markets, in such a way that companies have the imperative to adopt them. In this regard, the following question arises: What is the influence of the use of the SM on the benefits of returns in the MSMEs of the state of Tabasco? This research is non-experimental, transversal with a quantitative approach, proposes a confirmatory-explanatory scope, and uses Structural Equation Systems (SEM) as a statistical method to test its hypotheses. The model for this research is formative causal structural. The study population is the MSMEs of the state of Tabasco, the type of sampling is non-probabilistic, the sample is 310 and a 19-item survey is used. The results revealed that, for each unit of time of use of the SM tools, 0.448 of performance benefits are acquired. The article presents the results of the research on the level of implementation of Lean instruments in the ceramics industry. The research was carried out in ceramic factories in Poland and Germany. Based on the results obtained, the most commonly used Lean instruments in the ceramics industry were defined. The dependence of the use of Lean instruments on the size of the enterprise was also determined. It was established that the Lean activities undertaken in the ceramics industry are focused solely on the implementation of individual methods and tools, without a pre-defined goal. This approach in the ceramics industry is ineffective, but unfortunately it is most often used in the implementation of the Lean philosophy, especially in small ceramics enterprises.

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) play an important role in supporting Indonesia’s economic growth and provide employment for people. Nevertheless, SMEs are most vulnerable when there is a flood. Small and medium sized enterprises are worse off especially after the flood, because they are relatively limited in resources and less resilient. The study aimed at identifying the vulnerability level to floods and analysing the economic valuation of flood mitigation. The population in this study were SMEs located in flood-prone areas in Klaten Regency, Central Java province, Indonesia. This research used a purposive sampling technique with 152 respondents. Data collection was carried out using a direct interview method to business actors with the help of a questionnaire. There were two analytical tools used in this research, including vulnerability index and economic valuation. The results showed that Klaten Regency is located in the upper area vulnerability category of moderate flood. The economic valuation of flood mitigation is IDR 100 000 (USD6.99) to IDR 149 999 (USD10.49). Most SMEs perceive that flood mitigation is the responsibility of the government.

This research aims to determine the role of the leadership and potential benefits that blockchain adoption may bring to SME financing in the Kingdom, as well as the foreseeable challenges that may hinder small businesses from benefiting from the adoption of blockchain. It is interesting aspect to see how leadership manages to adopt new changes amid several challenges and threats. This article also outlines policy and regulatory trends that SMEs can save operating costs and improve efficiency, thereby increasing transparency and easier access to funds. Digital technology and creative business models have the potential to help narrow the financing gap for SMEs. E-commerce and the sharing economy provide SMEs with more market access and new business models, as well as the data-driven business prospects generated through data sharing under the framework of open banking. This study provides recommendation that there is a dire need to pay attention on the complete mechanism of the SME's in order to support them as well as promote them to show their distinction in the contribution of social and economic development. Weaving Ikat is one of the traditional Indonesian fabrics where the manufacturing process is still done traditionally. One of the ikat producing areas in Indonesia is Jepara, which is located in Central Java Province. Since decades, ikat weaving has been known by the Indonesian people and even now it is known in foreign countries. However, challenges arise when there are many similar competitors so that ikat fabrics, especially in Jepara, have decreased For this reason, it is necessary to review a new strategy to face competition both within and outside the country so that business remains competitive. This study aims to investigate the factors that can affect sales performance. The variables studied are open innovation and coopetition as independent variables that effect the dependent variable, namely sales performance. This type of research is quantitative using the explanatory method where this method is to determine the effect of the relationship between variables. The sample was selected as many as 132 respondents. Data analysis was performed using multiple regression analysis using SPSS for windows software. The results show that the open innovation and coopetition variables simultaneously effect sales performance. The results included in the category have a strong relationship with the acquisition value of 71.2%. This study also emphasizes the importance of coopetition in building competitive forces apart from innovation, so that businesses can have competitiveness, especially in global competition. This study motivated by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) problem. SMEs still have difficulty accessing financial institutions. This problem should overcome when SMEs utilize information technology in business management such as crowdfunding features through Financial technology, where crowdfunding has known as a funding offering facility for social interests. The study is a qualitative descriptive analysis. This study intended to decide how to use crowdfunding-based financial technology by SME's at Tarakan City. The experiment subject is a randomized participant of 15 participants based on a predetermined category faced with stakeholders SME’s at Tarakan City. The data consisted of primary data non-metric or qualitative data. Participants were interviewed and examined to learn about the use of crowdfunding-based financial technology by small and medium-sized companies in Tarakan City, followed by triangulation with three models, i.e. data triangulation, investigator triangulation, and methods triangulation. Then analyzed with an interactive model through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing procedures. The result of the research shows that from the 15 informants in this study, there were only two informants who knew about Financial technology, and only a small proportion of SMEs at Tarakan City able to utilize Financial technology based on crowdfunding for their funding needs and use crowdfunding for working capital.
