Objective: To promote the intensive processing of Antarctic Krill and enrich the types of minced shrimp products. Methods: Using Krill meat and prawn meat as main raw materials, waxy corn acetylated distarch adipate, egg white powder, soy protein isolate, glutamine transaminase and other adjuvants were added, and the optimal preparation ratio of shrimp balls was obtained through single factor test and response surface test. Results: The optimal preparation ratio of shrimp balls was 6.00% waxy corn acetylated distarch adipate, 5.00% egg white powder, 5.00% soy protein isolate, 0.50% glutamine transaminase and 0.20% konjac gum. Conclusion: The two-stage heating method is used to prepare compound shrimp gel. By adding exogenous additives, the texture properties of compound shrimp gel can be improved and the nutritional value can be guaranteed.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the pollution of heavy metals in Astragalus membranaceus in the main producing areas of Gansu, and to evaluate the potential health risks of edible Astragalus membranaceus. Methods: The contents of five heavy metal elements Pb, Cd, As, Hg and Cu in Astragalus membranaceus were determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer （ICP-MS） by random sampling method, and the data were analyzed. Estimated Daily Intake （EDI）, Target Hazard Factor （THQ） and Lifetime Carcinogenicity Risk （LCR） were used for health risk assessment. Results: The average contents of Pb, Cd, As, Hg, and Cu elements in 58 batches of Astragalus membranaceus samples were 0.148, 0.024, 0.139, 0.011 and 4.569 mg/kg, respectively. According to the limited standards stipulated in the 2020 edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia, although the detection rate of individual elements was high, but none of them exceeds the standard. The health risk assessment model showed that EDICu＞Pb＞Hg＞Cd, and all less than 1, LCR was also less than 1×10-6. Indicated that the overall level of Astragalus membranaceus samples in this study was safe. Conclusion: The content of five heavy metals in Astragalus membranaceus produced in Gansu will not cause potential risks to the health of adults and children, and there is no potential carcinogenic risk.

Anaplasma phagocytophilum (A. phagocytophilum) is an emerging zoonotic pathogen causing human granulocytic anaplasmosis, linked to small mammal reservoirs that harbor various zoonotic pathogens, underscoring their importance in public health and ecology. This study seeks to determine the prevalence of A. phagocytophilum in small mammals using PCR, then sequence and genotype positive samples, and assess infection risk factors. Small mammals were seasonally captured and a nested polymerase chain reaction (nested-PCR) was conducted targeting the 16S rRNA gene on spleen samples to detect A. phagocytophilum infection from three counties in western Yunnan province, China. Positive samples were sequenced and genotyped, revealing genetic diversity and regional clustering of the pathogen. A total of 1,605 small mammals belonging to 30 species, 18 genera, 6 families, 3 orders were captured seasonally and screened in this region, yielding a 0.93% infection rate with A. phagocytophilum (15/1605). Significant variations in infection rates were observed across different species, counties, and habitats. The 16Sr RNA genes of A. phagocytophilum were categorized into two distinct clades, indicating notable genetic diversity. The identification of genetic variants in spleen samples underscores the potential public health risk and the critical importance of the One Health approach in disease surveillance. Our findings emphasize the necessity for continuous monitoring and highlight the value of nested-PCR testing on spleen samples for accurate prevalence assessment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

To analyze the fixation strength of cannulated screws fixation in the treatment of femoral neck fracture with posterior tilt due to insufficient reduction. Two sets of digital models of anatomical reduction and 15° tilting reduction were established by CT data. Each group of models was modeled with two different fixation methods. One fixation method was fixed according to the standard cannulated screws recommended by AO. Another fixation method is to tilt the screw posterior tilt 15°. The final four groups of models were obtained: AO principle nailing posterior tilt model (Group A), posterior direction nailing posterior tilt model (Group B), AO principle nailing anatomic reduction model (Group C) and posterior direction nailing anatomic reduction model (Group D). The maximum displacement of the fracture end, the maximum Von-Mises stress and the stress distribution of the internal fixation were compared among the four groups. Four groups of models were established on artificial bone by 3D printing guide plate technology. The 600 N pressure test and yield test were performed on a biomechanical machine. The finite element and biomechanical models showed that groups B and C were more stable than groups A and D. The stability of group B was not worse than that of group C. When the femoral neck fracture produces a posterior tilt, a posterior reduction is allowed. The change of AO screw to posterior tilting screw fixation has more powerful advantages. No posterior tilt or posterior reduction, AO screw placement is still required. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Bougainvillea spp., belonging to the Nyctaginaceae family, have high economic and horticultural value in South China. Despite the high similarity in terms of leaf appearance and hybridization among Bougainvillea species, especially Bougainvillea × buttiana, their phylogenetic relationships are very complicated and controversial. In this study, we sequenced, assembled and analyzed thirteen complete chloroplast genomes of Bougainvillea cultivars from South China, including ten B. × buttiana cultivars and three other Bougainvillea cultivars, and identified their phylogenetic relationships within the Bougainvillea genus and other species of the Nyctaginaceae family for the first time. These 13 chloroplast genomes had typical quadripartite structures, comprising a large single-copy (LSC) region (85,169–85,695 bp), a small single-copy (SSC) region (18,050–21,789 bp), and a pair of inverted-repeat (IR) regions (25,377–25,426 bp). These genomes each contained 112 different genes, including 79 protein-coding genes, 29 tRNAs and 4 rRNAs. The gene content, codon usage, simple sequence repeats (SSRs), and long repeats were essentially conserved among these 13 genomes. Single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and insertions/deletions (indels) were detected among these 13 genomes. Four divergent regions, namely, trnH-GUG_psbA, trnS-GCU_trnG-UCC-exon1, trnS-GGA_rps4, and ccsA_ndhD, were identified from the comparative analysis of 16 Bougainvillea cultivar genomes. Among the 46 chloroplast genomes of the Nyctaginaceae family, nine genes, namely, rps12, rbcL, ndhF, rpoB, rpoC2, ndhI, psbT, ycf2, and ycf3, were found to be under positive selection at the amino acid site level. Phylogenetic relationships within the Bougainvillea genus and other species of the Nyctaginaceae family based on complete chloroplast genomes and protein-coding genes revealed that the Bougainvillea genus was a sister to the Belemia genus with strong support and that 35 Bougainvillea individuals were divided into 4 strongly supported clades, namely, Clades Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ and Ⅳ. Clade Ⅰ included 6 individuals, which contained 2 cultivars, namely, B. × buttiana 'Gautama's Red' and B. spectabilis 'Flame'. Clades Ⅱ only contained Bougainvillea spinosa. Clade Ⅲ comprised 7 individuals of wild species. Clade Ⅳ included 21 individuals and contained 11 cultivars, namely, B. × buttiana 'Mahara', B. × buttiana 'California Gold', B. × buttiana 'Double Salmon', B. × buttiana 'Double Yellow', B. × buttiana 'Los Banos Beauty', B. × buttiana 'Big Chitra', B. × buttiana 'San Diego Red', B. × buttiana 'Barbara Karst', B. glabra 'White Stripe', B. spectabilis 'Splendens' and B. × buttiana 'Miss Manila' sp. 1. In conclusion, this study not only provided valuable genome resources but also helped to identify Bougainvillea cultivars and understand the chloroplast genome evolution of the Nyctaginaceae family. In this study,205 elite wheat lines from winter wheat region of China were used as materials to analyze the phytic acid content,and the cluster analysis and related was further conducted.The results showed that the average Phytic acid content of the two environmental groups was 4.99 g/kg and 3.31 g/kg,and the variation range was 17.90 g/kg and 10.20 g/kg,respectively.The variation range was relatively large.The results of cluster analysis showed that there were significant differences in Phytic acid content among 6 groups.B54,B40,B86 and B126 have the lowest phytic acid content among the extended varieties or backbone parents,which can be used as important parents in low Phytic acid wheat breeding.The higher generation lines B131,B141,B181 and B149 had the lowest phytic acid content.Combined with excellent agronomic traits,it is expected to select new functional wheat varieties with low Phytic acid content.A total of 36 single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) markers associated with phytic acid content in wheat grains were detected (P ＜ 0.001),which were distributed on chromosomes 2B,3A,3B,3D,6A and 6B.The contribution rate of phenotypic variation of a single Association site was 5.73% ～ 9.69%.Excellent alleles of genes with low Phytic acid content were identified such as tdurum,were identified_contig35799_208-G、Excalibur_c96134_152-C and tdurum_contig43538_1687-A,etc.which had a greater effect on low Phytic acid content.

As a novel environmental pollutant, the impacts of nanoplastics on crops have attracted more and more attention. To explore the response of soybean to polystyrene nanoplastics (PS-NPs) at physiological and gene expression levels, this experiment used hydroponics to determine the phenotype and physiological indexes of soybean seedlings after exposure to 50 mg/L 100 nm PS-NPs for 10 days, and carried out transcriptome sequencing analysis of soybean seedling root system. The results showed that the growth of the soybean seedlings was inhibited, the root morphology changed significantly, the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase (CAT) increased to a certain extent, the content of malondialdehyde (MDA) increased significantly, and the content of soluble sugar decreased after PS-NPs exposure. Transcriptome analysis showed that a total of 2112 differentially expressed genes were generated by PS-NPs exposure treatment, GO and KEGG analysis showed that they were mainly enriched in pathways related to redox reaction, reaction to ethylene and abscisic acid, amino acid metabolism and synthesis of other secondary metabolites. It was noted that 250 transcription factors were differentially expressed, mainly including the ERF, WRKY, NAC, bHLH and MYB transcription factor families. Therapeutic antibodies (Abs) improve the clinical outcome of cancer patients. However, on‐target off‐tumor toxicity limits Ab‐based therapeutics. Cluster of differentiation 147 (CD147) is a tumor‐associated membrane antigen overexpressed in cancer cells. Ab‐based drugs targeting CD147 have achieved inadequate clinical benefits for liver cancer due to side effects. Here, by using glycoengineering and hypoxia‐activation strategies, we developed a conditional Ab‐dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC)‐enhanced humanized anti‐CD147 Ab, HcHAb18‐azo‐PEG5000 (HAP18). Afucosylated ADCC‐enhanced HcHAb18 Ab was produced by a fed‐batch cell culture system. Azobenzene (Azo)‐linked PEG5000 conjugation endowed HAP18 Ab with features of hypoxia‐responsive delivery and selective targeting. HAP18 Ab potently inhibits the migration, invasion, and matrix metalloproteinase secretion, triggers the cytotoxicity and apoptosis of cancer cells, and induces ADCC, complement‐dependent cytotoxicity, and Ab‐dependent cellular phagocytosis under hypoxia. In xenograft mouse models, HAP18 Ab selectively targets hypoxic liver cancer tissues but not normal organs or tissues, and has potent tumor‐inhibiting effects. HAP18 Ab caused negligible side effects and exhibited superior pharmacokinetics compared to those of parent HcHAb18 Ab. The hypoxia‐activated ADCC‐enhanced humanized HAP18 Ab safely confers therapeutic efficacy against liver cancer with improved selectivity.
