Ground water is the main source for industrial and domestic purposes. Increaing of industrial, over population and agricultral activites to contaminate with in thier water bodies through over usage and their discharges. Our present study focused on quality of ground water in visakhapatnam city and sampling collection in three different zones based on population density, number of industries and agricultural activites. Some of the physico chemical paramaters were analysed i.e., pH, Turbidity, Conductity, Salinity, Total suspended solid, Total dissloved solids, hardness, calcium, magnesium, alkalinity, chlorides, sulphates, nitrates, fluoride, dissloved oxygen, biological oxygen demand, iron and manganese were analysed and compare within zones as well as quality standard of regulatory bodies (Bureo of Iindain Standards & World Health Organization).
