The article presents research which examined the variability in acetabular coverage between weightbearing pelvic and supine pelvic radiographs. Topics covered include the importance of radiographic measures of the coverage to screen bone structure. Also mentioned is how the characterization of a bone structure of a patient contributes to the development of femoroacetabular impingement.
