This research article explores the effects of economic development policies on the living conditions of ethnic minority communities in the border region of Northern Vietnam. The study analyzes the impact of changes in agriculture, industry, trade, and services, as well as environmental improvements, on the living conditions of these communities. The findings suggest that government policies related to agriculture, trade, and services have a positive impact on the living conditions of ethnic minorities, while the industry does not. The article concludes by offering suggestions to the Vietnamese government on how to further improve the living conditions of ethnic minority communities in the border region.
