Abstract

The article presents a study on the prevalence and diagnosis of Klinefelter syndrome (KS) in Victoria. For the study, researchers analyzed all cytogenetic studies leading to a KS diagnosis. They estimated that the birth prevalence of KS in the state to be 223 per 100,000 males, with about 50 percent of undiagnosed cases. They concluded that the disease may be happening more frequently compared to previous reports.
