An essay is presented on the advocacy of Tea Party and its precedence in the political history of the U.S. It relates how the constitutional constraint democracy espoused by the Tea Party echoes the issues during the Republican Party convention of 1912 lead by Elihu Root against Theodore Roosevelt's Progressivism. It also cites the writing of Martin Diamond in exploring the meaning of democracy by examining the principles of the Declaration of Independence and American Constitution.
