The article presents information on the effort of Basic Technology, BT to raise sales and renew customer confidence in the market. The effort, which BT is calling the biggest business to business advertising and marketing undertaking in its history, is costing the company $46 million for the first six months and will continue for a minimum of three years. In the United States, BT is running print and online ads that position the company as the ideal partner to help large, global businesses navigate an economy largely driven by digital data and communication. The objective of the campaign, Calarese says, is to align BT with companies like Accenture, Hewlett-Packard, and IBM Corp.
