This article presents information on top twelve swimmers from around the world. The six men and women who comprise "Swimming World" Magazine's first-ever World Masters Swimmers of the Year are a diverse group, ranging in age from 38 to 91, they include four who were Olympians, three with only modest pre-Masters experience and one whose first race came at the age of 65. The dynamic dozen hail from six different countries, four are from the U.S., three from Great Britain, two from Japan and one each from Italy.
