An introduction is presented in which the editor discusses various reports within the issue on topics including the protocols implemented on bridge designs in the U.S. using weight-in-motion (WIM) data, the issues between stakeholders and Bridge Information Modeling (BrIM), and lateral flange bending estimates in straight, skewed, and curved bridges.
