The article evaluates the technology used in rubber track loaders. As recently as the late 1990s, most onlookers considered rubber-track loaders as a nice small market within compact equipment. But certainly it is no threat to other equipment, such as skid steers or mini excavators. There were a few crying in the wilderness that the category would be huge, but most considered it hyperbole. Currently, rubber-track loaders are primarily sold in North America leaving a huge worldwide market mostly untapped.
