Abstract

The article reports that a sharply divided Committee on Theological Issues and Institutions (TII) in the U.S. has approved Overture 13-06 voting by a margin of 33 to 26. As might expected, conservatives have accordingly, reacted negatively to attempts in correcting translation problems with the Heidelberg Catechism. According to doctor Robert Gagnon, a faculty member at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary (PTS) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the real reason behind attempts is a homosexualist agenda.
