The british Medical Association wants to criminalise all boxing. This article examines the logic of the arguments it uses and finds them wanting. The move from medical evidence about the risk of brain damage to the conclusion that boxing should be banned is not warranted. The BMA's arguments are a combination of inconsistent paternalism and legal moralism. The article presents the author's view on the varieties of photographic representation in Great Britain. He expresses that the representation such as documentary, pictorial and quasi-documentary have been included in the analysis as the re-statement of basic prejudices in pretentious language. He added that the implications for the understanding and criticism of particular photograph are applied and elaborated when specific images from the framework are generalized based with the theories. He believes that the main reason why philosophers have seemed unsophisticated when discussing the photography is that they looked for too general a theory and have consequently put forward theories.
