This article relates a story about the Heinkel 111P, a German bomber aircraft, during the second world war between the British and the Germans. The event took place in April 1941 over Great Britain when the Germans attacked its cities and towns in retaliation to their defeat in the Battle of Britain. The Heinkel 111P was brought down by the British Boulton-Paul Defiant fighters in a counter attack. The combat report of Flight Sergeant E. R.
