Abstract

The article presents a study which examines the incidence, mortality, and survival after female breast cancer and reproductive organs in Umbria, Italy. It states that joinpoint regression was utilized to assess temporal trends of the age-adjusted incidence and mortality rates. Results indicate that trends in incidence of cancer of the uterus and ovary were possible linked to modifications in risk exposure, while trends in occurrence of breast cancer was related population screening in women.
