The study tested a celebrity endorsement model to investigate the direct and indirect influences of celebrity attachment on brand loyalty across two culturally distinct countries: The United Kingdom and Turkiye. The survey was completed by 626 respondents and the data were analyzed using structural equation modeling. The findings show that celebrity attachment positively influences actual self‐congruence, ideal self‐congruence, brand quality, and brand attachment. Brand attachment mediates the effect of celebrity attachment on brand loyalty. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the celebrity endorsement process differs between British and Turkish consumers. Our research complements the meaning transfer model as it confirms that the celebrity endorsement process is influenced by two attachment objects: celebrities and brands. A follow‐up study with text mining analysis of the consumer comments about the product reviews posted by social media influencers (SMIs) supported the validity of the celebrity endorsement model. Practitioners should consider the consumer's emotional and cognitive bonding with celebrities, and brands to enhance the effectiveness of the celebrity endorsement process. Intuitive Eating is defined as "the dynamic process-integrating attunement of mind, body, and food". The purpose of this study was, therefore, adapt the IES-2 to the Turkish language and reliability and validity of IES-2 among Turkish populations. We also examined the instrument's internal consistency and test-retest reliability and analysed the relationships between the IES-2 and several variables so as to evaluate the convergent and discriminant validity. Three hundred seventy-seven undergraduate and postgraduate women and men between the ages of 19-31 years (mean 22.3, SD = 3.53) attending two large private universities in Istanbul, Turkey. The best solution from the principal factors analysis of the 23 items of the IES-2 revealed four factors corresponding to the four subscales (F1: Eating for physical rather than emotional reasons; F2: Unconditional permission to eat; F3: Reliance on hunger and satiety cues; F4: Body-food choice congruence), as reported by the authors of the questionnaire. Bartlett's test of sphericity gave X2 = 9043.49 (p < 0.001), while the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin index was 0.87 (KMO were 0.89 for women and 0.83 for men). The test-retest reliability of the IES-2 was 0.88 for the IES-2 total score. The IES-2 had a = 0.82. These findings support the notion that intuitive eating is a viable concept for university students and the IES can be used to examine adaptive eating behaviors in this population. Purpose – Like all other human behaviors, creativity must be examined by considering both personal and situational influences. “Person-organization fit” (POF) provides a suitable theoretical perspective to investigate the congruence between persons and organizations in the domain of creativity. However, few studies have examined the effects of POF on creative behavior. Although the majority of these studies have identified a positive relationship between POF and creativity, it is suggested that congruent individuals are less likely to be inventive. The current study will examine the positive relationship between POF and employees' self-rated creativity in the Turkish context. The paper aims to discuss these issues. Design/methodology/approach – Subjective POF measures and a creativity measure were adapted for this research, and multiple regression was used to calculate whether and how POF relates to creativity. Findings – Two important conclusions were found from the analyses. One of these significant interaction effects was found on employee creativity. And the second is congruence between personal values and current organizational values would effect employee creativity positively. Detailed findings and contributions have been discussed. Research limitations/implications – Although providing an important contribution to POF and creativity literature, this study had some limitations. In this study, self-rating method has been used to measure employee creativity. However, supervisor rating is the most common way in field studies and gives more objective results than self-rating method. Practical implications – The findings provide valuable information for human resource practitioner about the importance of situational factors as far as personal characteristics for enhancing creative behavior in organizations. Originality/value – As far as it is known, there are few studies to examine the relationship between POF and creativity empirically. The majority of these researches examined the complementary fit (demand-abilities, need-supply, value-supply fit). On the other hand, this study specially has focused on supplementary fit (POF), rather than complementary fit and examined its relationship with employee creativity by considering a wide set of values in the Turkish context. The aim of the present study was to determine whether or not young university students are worried about being unemployed after graduation. Choice of field for university education influences unemployment worries and therefore we collected data from 287 university students from Ankara University who were studying social sciences or sciences. The results demonstrated that the level of concern about unemployment in students about to graduate is very high and education in sciences or social sciences influences how this phenomenon is handled. This study examined the perceptions of elementary school teachers about individual and organizational value congruence according to some variables, and provided several implications for personorganization value congruence at schools. In this study, a total of 575 teachers working in 40 elementary schools from central counties of Ankara were selected as the study sample by using cluster-sampling method. Results from this study indicated that a moderately significant positive correlation between teachers' perceptions of individual and organizational values was found. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences in perceptions of teachers' on person-organization value congruence in terms of gender, branch, years in current school, the last graduated school, educational level, and job satisfaction level. However, results demonstrated that teachers' perceptions on person-organization value congruence varied significantly depending on the years in profession, attitude towards the schools in which they work, and considering himself/herself as an important member of the school. According to the results, teachers with high job satisfaction, considering themselves as important members of schools, and having a strong commitment to schools had more positive person-organization value congruence perceptions than the others. Based on the results of the study, it was suggested that longitudinal studies on which values affect teachers' perceptions about teaching profession be conducted by using qualitative research techniques. The purpose of this study is to determine the levels of congruence between the personal values and the perceptions related to the organizational values of principals and teachers working at primary schools. The population of this descriptive research consisted of the principals and teachers working at central primary schools in Erzincan. In the 2002-2003 academic year, 66 principals/assistant principals and 541 teachers were working at central primary schools in Erzincan. The sample wasn't taken because the research conducted on study population. In the research, 24 value dimensions (McDonald & Gandz, 1991) were used. The data were analyzed by using Spearman correlation method. According to the results of the study, congruence was found between personal values and the perceptions related to organizational values among the principals and teachers in relation to value dimensions of creativity, adaptability, cautiousness, social equality, autonomy, courtesy, humor, logic, aggressiveness, initiative, development, diligence, orderliness, consideration, experimentation, forgiveness, moral integrity, fairness, openness, and broad-mindedness. Incongruence was found between personal values and the perceptions related to organizational values among the principals in relation to value dimensions of cooperation and economy. Incongruence was found between personal values and the perceptions related to organizational values among the teachers in relation to value dimensions of formality and obedience.
