The flat wasps genus, Pristepyris Kieffer is reported for the first time from Türkiye based on the identification of Pristepyris masii (Soika, 1933). Now, with this new record, the species number of Bethylidae from Türkiye has increased to ten. Additionally, new data are presented for Epyris niger Westwood, 1832, Sclerodermus ephippius (Saunders, 1881) and Pristocera depressa (Fabricius, 1804), which were previously recorded from Turkey. To detect the natural enemies of Scolytus rugulosus (Muller, 1818) (Coleoptera: Curculionidae: Scolytinae), which is harmful to cherry trees, parasitoid wasp specimens were collected during field studies in the Kemalpaşa district of Izmir, Türkiye, between 1993 and 1995. This study evaluated 89 bethylid specimens collected in field studies. The wasps were collected by beating branches of cherry trees and reared on S. rugulosus larvae. All collected specimens were identified, and as a result, two previously unreported Bethylidae species, Bethylus mandibularis (Kieffer, 1904) and Goniozus claripennis (Förster, 1851) (Hymenoptera: Bethylidae), were recorded from Türkiye. The newly recorded species are briefly described and illustrated. Additional records are provided for Cephalonomia hypobori Kieffer, 1919, already reported from Türkiye. This study includes the specimens of Epyrinae and Scleroderminae subfamilies belonging to the family of Bethylidae collected from Samsun and Tokat provinces of Turkey between 2006 and 2022. Insect specimens were collected through insect net and hand picking method. At the end of the study, three species belonging to three genera of Epyrinae, Epyris niger Westwood, Gracilepyris rufipes (Say) and Laelius pedatus (Say), and one genus and one species belonging to Scleroderminae, Sclerodermus ephippius Saunders, were determined. This is the first record of the identified species, their genera and subfamilies from Turkey. Brief descriptions of newly recorded species are provided. A preliminary checklist of Turkish Bethylidae (Hymenoptera, Chrysidoidea) is also presented for the first time.
