The research was conducted to elaborate a marketing plan of the tourism offer of the Tungurahua province, that allowed to propose strategies to promote its attractions and to increase tourism. The applied methods were: survey, interview and research file. Planning was also done for the organization of activities and workshops in which criteria were exchanged with authorities and entrepreneurs of the tourism sector. The plan included the tourism offer of the cantons and SWOT analysis of the sector. The activities that are carried out in Tungurahua were proven to be varied and recognized nationally and internationally, for which they would favor the economic development of its inhabitants. It is concluded that entrepreneurs need to be trained to aim their companies' activities at innovation and quality, through the implementation of strategies, programs and projects that favor tourism development.
