The article reports on the high number of bird casualties in Toronto, Ontario due to crashing in buildings' glass windows in 2012. According to ornithologist Daniel Klem Jr., the city is considered as one of the deadly cities for migratory birds because of the huge number of its buildings. Meanwhile, the Fatal Light Awareness Program (FLAP), a bird patrol group, brought the issue in court to prosecute the owners of malfunctioning buildings.
