The article presents a study on the Tibetan Plateau during the Neogene Period. It outlines the discovery of fossil palm leaves from Tibet and recovered from the Late Paleogene along with paleolake sediments in the Lumpola Basin. An overview of the analysis on the evolution of biodiversity in Asia as well as monsoon dynamics and tectonics is also provided.
