The article discusses a study which examined the effect of pre-eclampsia on neonatal outcomes of late preterm deliveries. From 2004 to 2007, a study was done enrolling infants born between 34 0/7 and 36 6/7 weeks of gestation in Fourth Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The statistical evaluation was implemented through the Statistical Package for Social Science version 17.0. Total caesarean section rate was discovered to be higher in the pre-eclamptic population of the study.
