The article reviews a survey that examines the practice of Texas health educators of providing family health history (FHH)-based services, alongside factors shaping their practice. Topics discussed include the study conclusions that the theoretical model suggesting intervention points for future training as well as the need to train health educators to incorporate FHH into their practice. Also mentioned are Certified Health Education Specialists in Texas completing a baseline survey.
