The article focuses on the study regarding the formation mechanism of potash deposits in the Kuqa depression in Tarim basin in China. It discusses the distribution characteristics of potash salts, saying that the Paleogene salt formations in the Kuqa depression are distributed mainly in the Baicheng sag area.
