Reports that a team of researchers from Great Britain and Switzerland have found that the arthritis drug Vioxx should have been pulled from the market four years ago. Questioning of the drug's safety since 2000 when a trial showed a 5-fold higher incidence of myocardial infarction in patients on the drug as compared to those on naproxen; Pulling of the drug in 2004 by Merck.
