Abstract

The article presents a study which focuses on solving the information gap between China and other developing countries. The study compares the library information services in China and in Sweden by investigating the databases are provided by each library and the number of user education courses provided by each library. Results revealed that Chinese medical libraries have poor information and collection oriented while Swedish Medical Libraries are rich in information and access-oriented.
