The article describes a group of patients who underwent laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (LSG) or laparoscopic duodenal switch (LDS) and have suffered from a severe postoperative gastroesophageal motility disorder. The patients underwent LSG in Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem and in Clinical San Jorge and Alcoy Hospital in Spain. Results showed that eight patients have suffered from a gastroesophageal dysmotility and reflux disease postoperatively. A dilated upper part of the sleeve with narrowing of the midstomach was common in the patients.
