Industrial crises exert considerable influence on a wide range of industries, national economies, and global economic landscapes. The primary objective of this study is to devise a crisis index specifically tailored for the petroleum sector—a vital component of South Korea's energy industry. An exhaustive analysis of the existing literature was conducted to extract pertinent elements and indicators, and indicator weights were determined using the analytic network process (ANP). Moreover, a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods was employed to rigorously evaluate the validity of the proposed crisis index. The implications derived from this study offer critical insights for stakeholders into the petroleum industry and demonstrate the potential applicability of a crisis index framework for other industries. This paper identifies challenging factors that hinder the successful settlement of the MyData industry, which is drawing global attention, and it analyzes the priority of solutions. To this end, a mixed-methodology including analytic network process technique was borrowed stepby-step to identify variables, analyze them, and provide interpretations. From the first step, the study found that the market aspect was the most important for the success of the K-MyData business, and the release of interesting representative services was found to be the easiest way to inspire market growth. From the second step, as a socio-cultural issue, the lack of consensus on data provisioning was found to present a major obstacle. To achieve consensus, it is very important for business participants to gain the trust of consumers. From the third step, it was found that the scope of data collection and responsibility for accidents needs to be clarified. Government and business-related persons must observe the principles of MyData while tackling these obstacles. It is also necessary for the government to be sensitive to changes in the environment as a focal actor. Doing so will lead to data industry activation and will help guarantee of rights of data subjects in a balanced manner. Finally, it is notable that technical barriers now have the lowest priority. Although technology is important, MyData business must also overcome market, socio-cultural, and institutional challenges. This study investigated the relationships among psychosocial factors that contribute to smartphone dependency among South Korean adolescents. This cross-sectional study involved the secondary data analysis of the 2016 Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey, a nationwide multistage cluster survey. Data were collected from 1,840 7th grade students in South Korea and analyzed with descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and a path analysis using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 23.0. The path analysis showed that self-esteem and aggressiveness directly influenced smartphone dependency, while affective parenting attitude, peer attachment, resilience, self-esteem, and depressive symptoms indirectly influenced it. The explanatory variables accounted for 18.3% of the total variance. In conclusion, parents' education on positive parenting and guidance concerning adolescents' smartphone use is necessary to reduce adolescents' smartphone dependency. It may also prove effective to promote adolescents' interpersonal skills and self-esteem to foster positive peer relationships and self-control concerning smartphone use. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study explores key critical factors of waterfront port development ( WPD) by applying analytic network process ( ANP) and analytic hierarchy process ( AHP) to the Incheon and Bangkok ports, drawing certain implications. The major findings of this paper show that the ANP draws more stable, comprehensive, and consistent results than the AHP, and the ANP ranking results of the three cases, showed four common key critical criteria of WPD exist among the top five (i.e., accessibility under community function; connectivity under port function; maritime clustering, and transformation of the port/city interface under economic function).
