The article presents a study features the annual simulation of the tropospheric ozone in South Asia in 2008. Researchers used the WRF-chem model to evaluate the CO2 and NOx in three different sites. They found that WRF-Chem model is effective in capturing the spatio temporal ozone variability in South Asia.

The article presents research on the simulations of tropospheric ozone over South Asia using the weather research and forecasting model with chemistry (WRF-Chem) model for 2008. The study suggests that ozone production in the area is mostly mono-nitrogen oxides (NOx-limited). Furthermore, it indicates the efficiency of WRF-Chem model in capturing many important features of the observations as well as provides an efficient use for understanding spatio-temporal variability of ozone.
