The article presents the viewpoints of several litterateurs on South American literature. These views were presented in symposiums based on the above-mentioned topic. According to one of the participants of the symposiums, in South American countries, "Place" connotes things that the countrymen are emotional about like mutual commitment, environmental stewardship and integrity of moral priorities.
