The article states that sellers are reporting heavy traffic but buyers are feeling flat as 2005's American Film Market (AFM) hits the home stretch and the corridors at the Santa Monica, California-set jamboree begin to thin out before close. Although 2005's AFM is in its first year as the main fall market, the one thing on which buyers and sellers agree is that traffic flow is heavy but dealmaking is relatively slow. On the first day of the market, AFM managing director Jonathan Wolf was at pains to point out that buyers often say the market is slow to try to dampen competition for titles acquisition.
