Abstract

The article presents a study on the effects of apocynin on the integrin-related cell adhesion and proliferation of 3Y1 and HR-3Y1-2 cells. The study involved apocynin purchased from Sigma in Saint Louis, Missouri and HR-3Y1-2 cells purchased from Japanese Collection of Research Bioresources in Osaka, Japan. The results showed that apocynin selectively down-regulates β1-integrin cell surface expression on HR-3Y1-2 cells.
