The article examines the religious subject dealing with the Alianz movement on the first half of the twentieth-century period. It explores the activities of the Blankenburger Konferenz, a loose affiliation of German evangelicals. It notes the emergence of the organization which started in 1845. It mentions the growth of Blankenburg Conference with one theme entitled "The Unity of the Body of Christ," which addressed broad issues like the meaning of the cross, the working of the Holy Spirit, the meaning of sanctification and the importance of evangelism.
