The research has as objective to analyse the evolution of the employed population and the gross domestic product in services, in the Western Region of Romania, from 2016-2020, respectively to highlight the importance of the employed population's contribution to the creation of the gross domestic product. Based on the statistical data series, the absolute, relative and average indicators were calculated, with the aim of identifying for each type of service the increase, the dynamics index and the rate of growth of the employed population and the gross domestic product, both in absolute values and in values mediums. The employed population and the gross domestic product registered positive values for most services, and negative values only for the population employed in Financial Intermediation and Insurance services, Other service activities, Education, Public Administration and Defence; social insurance from the public system, as well as to the gross domestic product for Real Estate Transaction services and Financial Intermediation and Insurance services. This analysis is intended to present, in short, a painting, in a decade, on the share of services in Romania, during from the pre-accession of the country, to the European Union, in the immediate post-accession period. Integration into the European single market has imposed a strategic reorientation of Romania, with fundamental consequences, including, increasing of the share of services being one of them. One of the criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of any country is represented by the percentage of services from around economy and opportunities for growth with the development of multiple hoists on the real economy, but also and the evolution of Romanian society. The conversion of the debts into shares is a very commonly used method in the jurisdictions of the states that are based on a market economy because of its potential to turn an adversarial situation into a collaborative relationship beneficial to both sides . The legal implications of this operation in the Romanian law converge to some risks, but although our legislation is not yet adapted to this practice, we can observe an increase in the concern for the conversion of debts into shares. The method of converting a debt or multiple debts into shares in a joint stock company is a simple and required one necessary for the companies in order not to remain indebted or to avoid a potential insolvency in the case the debt is not met in time. In recent yearsmanyextremenatural phenomena have affected not only agriculture, but the population of the country as well. The continuous deterioration of the environmental conditions has produced irreversible effects on people's lives and activities. Protection curtains are a solution for such phenomena. In this paper, the authors focus on the main phenomena challenging the environment and highlights a few solutions that could diminish the negative effects of such phenomena on thequality of lifeand the environment. Research shows that Romania's population, in general, and Romania's rural population, in particular, as well as the national economy, has been challenged these two decades by extreme meteorological phenomena of particular amplitude: heat and severe drought, abundant rainfall, land glides and catastrophic floods, and abundant stormy snow falls. Although it maintains the legal fusion system for sanctioning multiple offences, the new Criminal Code sets forth the obligation to apply a fixed increase to the hardest punishment, representing the third part of the total punishments inflicted for simultaneous offences. The author states that the provision of the amount of the increase of punishment in the content of the law does not allow the court to judge, as the case may be, depending on the number and on the grossness of the simultaneous offences and on the particulars of the defendant, the need and especially, the amount of the punishment increase. In order to avoid certain legal exaggerations which could result from the establishment and the application of the punishment increase, according to the new regulations for the observance of the principle of lawfulness of criminal sanctions and in order not to give the court the opportunity to apply the sentence of life imprisonment when it is not set forth for any simultaneous offence, the legal amendment of the provisions of art. 39 of the new Criminal Code, is required.
