The analysis and drafting of a conclusion regarding the current state of the anthropogenic influence on the forests were conducted by the study of forest planning and other documents that serve the purpose of the research. By following the paths in the forests of Mureş county, several remarks were noted on the state of private and state-owned forest areas: the forester's intervention in the woods, in terms of the application of silvicultural treatments and forest regeneration and promotion of the basic natural type of forest, the mapping of anthropogenically damaged areas, remarks on the planning of guarding activities and preventing illegal actions in the woods. The actions that cause damage to the forest and the general stock of wood are identified especially in terms of illegal felling. The damages caused though illegal felling during the analyzed period (1970 -- 2013), enable us to assert that this kind of damages were recorded throughout the entire analyzed interval. The causes determining a high anthropogenic pressure on the forests are easily identified by the legislative gaps, social poverty of the Romanian society, the influence of the political factor on the national forest strategy, impairment of the forester's authority in the forests, the dependence of local communities to the forests etc. All these require identification of immediate solutions for the recovery of the anthropogenically damaged areas by afforestation, provision of a sole, coherent and efficient legislative framework, approach of a new concept in terms of supervision and control in the forests. The feeding of amphibians from artificial habitats from Padurea Craiului Mountains is influenced by the consequences of anthropogenic activities. Thus, expanded polystyrene fragments that remained from the abandoned buildings were frequently swallowed by Bombina variegata. The feeding of the two species was relatively similar, the differences between them being insignificant. Despite the fact that the habitats are artificial, the two species have an intense feeding. However, this is not a consequence of the state of the populated habitats, but of the ability of amphibians to use trophic resources independent of the respective habitats. Therefore, the anthropogenic influence is also indirectly expressed through the definitive prevalence of the terrestrial preys in the case of both species, during all of the study periods. Due to the fact that the habitats are artificial ones, affected by man, they have a reduced trophic offer which forces amphibians to forage in the neighbouring terrestrial environment. Since this is not very affected in the present, the two species can feed adequately. These results underline the importance of terrestrial habitats adjacent to aquatic ones for amphibians. In the same time, it reveals a way by which some amphibian species can survive in areas with aquatic habitats affected by man. Our study reports the presence of active amphibians during winter in 8 new thermal habitats from the north-western part of Romania. Non-hibernating marsh frogs (Pelophylax ridibundus) were found in all of the habitats, while Bombina bombina and Epidalea viridis were identified in some of them. It is a first record that Epidalea viridis was found active during winter in the thermal habitats from north-western Romania. Pelophylax ridibundus has the largest populations.
