Abstract

The article discusses the use of an integrated hydrotreater at the PNK Orlen refinery in Poland in the processing of Ural crude vacuum residue to produce low-sulphur fuel oil. The refinery designed a gasoil hydrotreater and integrated it into the existing residue hydrocracker to increase production without the addition of a recycle compressor.
