Abstract

The article reports on the joint proposal of the Kemet Electronics Corp. and Pennsylvania State University has been approved for funding by NSF under its Grant Opportunities for Academic Liaison with Industry program in Pennsylvania. The project aims to investigate some fundamental aspects of base-metal electrode multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs). This work has been expected as the key in the development of new generations of MLCCs.
