This article aims to present the organization of the stages of the inter-institutional research “The social impacts of the Bioceanic Route on Kadiwéu and Ayoreos indigenous territories in Brazil and Paraguay”, linked to the indigenous populations and social vulnerabilities axis of the social impacts working group, developed in partnership with the University Network of the Latin American Integration Route (UniRila). Therefore, it presents the geographical and historical context of the proposal, as well as general aspects of the original Kadiwéu, Kinikinau and Terena peoples who live in the Kadiwéu Reservation, known as Campo dos Índios, in Porto Murtinho, Mato Grosso do Sul (MS), Brazil. In times of the covid-19 pandemic, the data reveal that the diagnostic script adapted from the document used by the National Institute for Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (INEP) for the school census can identify what those native peoples think about the education, social, cultural and economic impacts caused by the construction of the Bioceanic Route that will pass through Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina, and Chile.
