Educating the poor and neglected ones especially women became the driving force behind our Charism of the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of Jesus and Mary (SCJM) in Pakistan. Fr. Peter Joseph Triest the founder wanted the Sisters to choose to serve the poor, the vulnerable, rejected and neglected ones of our societies like Jesus Our Master. This article highlights the sufficient educational services rendered in the past and in the present to the poor of Pakistan especially of rural areas. This contribution of SCJMs towards educating women is a journey of sharing knowledge and building confidence. It is an ongoing process of enlightenment, moving forward with milestones of achievements. The article of educating women within cultural backwardness, is set in the shadows of darkness where the rays of light slowly pierce it and in appearing of dawn, the women of the soil begin to encounter their own identity, realize their dignity and value their abilities to move on to new horizons. Their presence brings change in cultural, geographical and religious scenario.

This study aims to investigate the role of risk tolerance as a mediator in the investment choices of retail investors on Pakistan Stock Exchange. Research addresses criticisms of the descriptive theories in behavioral economics and emphasizes the importance of understanding factors that impact consumers' financial decisions for a more efficient and stable financial system. The study analyzes organizational, personal, and market factors to determine relative significance. Sample for this study consists of individual investors actively trading on Pakistan Stock Exchange. The findings indicate that individual investors' investment behavior is mainly swayed by market factors, personal characteristics, and organizational context. Study findings hold value for various stakeholders, including investors, brokerage companies, managers, and government officials. By utilizing these findings to inform their decisionmaking processes, these stakeholders can make more informed choices. Pakistan is a galaxy of religions and a land having rich cultural diversity. Such attributes have fascinated the research scholars, political scientists, and sociologists for studying the elements that, despite of indifferences, have connected the people. Pakistan was a political demanded of a visible Muslim minority of Sub-Continent to have a piece of land where the deprived and oppressed community (Muslim) can enjoy the liberty and freedom of their culture, tradition, and religious rituals. However, when the Pakistan Movement was on its full spring, other small minorities have also joined hands. Furthermore, Quaid's vision for a democratic, tolerant, and inclusive society convinced the other minorities and ethnic groups for opting to live in Pakistan. The constitutional and political history of Pakistan reflects the efforts and energies invested by the decision makers to strengthen the national unity and cohesive bond. The research topic 'National Unity and Cohesion in Pakistan: A Critical Assessment of Constitution 1973' is an attempt to identify the constitutional provisions for ensuring national unity and cohesion. The qualitative method has been deployed in which the researcher studied the material already produced on the same topic and conducted interviews. The primary objective of this endeavour was to assess the constitutional commitments and the political will to ensure implementation. Additionally, the factors that have affected the implementation and disturbed the social fabric of Pakistan contributing to increase marginalization of weak segments of society and excluding some specific groups from the mainstream. Divorce from a distressful and unhappy marital alliance implies emancipation from perpetual pain, abuse, agony and violence but the social stigma attached to a divorced woman casts its shadow for life in the patriarchal and paternalistic socio-cultural settings in Pakistan. Seeking a judicial redress for dissolution of marriage is a legal right that needs to be available equally to both men and women. However, Christian married couples who apply for a divorce, are left with no options except to invoke the charge of adultery under Christian Divorce Act 1869. Proving adultery as a ground for dissolution of marriage stands as an impediment entailing character assassination of the accused and narrows the application of divorce on other grounds, such as domestic violence, abandonment by husbands and cruelty. The clergy representing Christian community fully supports the ground of adultery for dissolution of Christian marriage and vehemently opposes any position that calls for inclusion of no-fault divorce. Human rights activists of Christian community along with some secular non-government organizations have been spearheading a campaign for the amendments in Christian Divorce Law, in order to expand the grounds for dissolution of marriage, for more than two decades. Realizing the enormity of the problem, Christian couples, especially women, are constrained both socially and legally to exercise their right to divorce. This study has identified the challenges Christian women are confronted with and the socio-cultural, religious constructs and the patriarchal position of the Church that obstruct the passage of amendments in the Christian Divorce Law 1869. Employing in-depth interviews of 12 participants, through purposive sampling technique, that included 8 Christian women, in the age bracket of 34 - 48 years, facing or experienced divorce litigation, 2 Christian women lawyers, and 2 representatives of Christian clergy, the present study has brought forward the difficulties Christian women are facing due to the absence of respectable grounds for dissolution of marriage and has highlighted the obstacles that complicate the process of building consensus within the Christian community for the change in the divorce law.
