The article highlights the Dialog Forum For Chinese Digital Content hosted by the non-for-profit computer service and research organization, Online Computer Library Catalog (OCLC), held in Dublin, Ohio on September 27 to 29, 2005. The forum has the intent of discussing issues of providing online access of digital content in Chinese language to users outside China and Taiwan, along with the possible establishment of a Chinese Digital Resources Alliance among digital content providers and East Asian libraries outside China. Jay Jordan, president and CEO of the OCLC opened the forum and described the mission and vision of the OCLC as well as the goals of the forum which is to help Chinese content providers understand the potential market of their content.
