Abstract

The article discusses the continued success of the water recycling system (WRS) at the Solaire building in the Battery Park City development in Manhattan, New York since its installation in 2002. Among the project's components that contributed to the success include the vision and dedication of the project proponents, a committed developer, and a clever engineer. The implications of the WRS for all the building's systems are also explored.
