The article presents an overview of a 1989 legal case involving a woman named Ilo Grundberg and the pharmaceutical firm Upohn Co. In the case Grundberg filed a suit against Upjohn for marketing an allegedly dangerous sleep aid called Halcion. The case centered on charges of murder which were brought against and dismissed for Grundberg in the death of her mother, which occurred while Grundberg was in an alleged Halcion caused stage of mental instability.
