Abstract

The article discusses a randomized clinical trial conducted to examine the effectiveness of fixed-dose combinations (FDCs) in reducing systolic blood pressure (SPB) and low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C), risk factors for cardiovascular diseases. The study reported reduction in SBP and LDL-C with FDCs and also reported increase in adherence as compared to usual care.
