Abstract

The article presents a study on lead concentrations in paired samples of human blood and synovial fluid. Samples were taken from 40 corpses from Monterey, Mexico, which underwent legal autopsy. It conducted experiments using various methods such as centrifugation, atomic absorption spectrophotometry (AAS) and regression analysis. Results show that the corpses exhibit normal lead concentrations, thus the latency period does not alter its concentration in blood.
