Abstract

The article describes the use of digital technology in the production of the play "Doctor Faustus," at Western Michigan University. The installation of digital technology was made possible by an experienced design team led by designers Greg Roehrick and David Curwen, and a risk-taking guest director Leon Ingulsrud. Live motion capture was managed using Autodesk's MotionBuilder.
