The article presents research on the causes of school dropout in the educational program of Administration at the Technological University of Valle del Mezquital (UTVM) in Mexico. It is mentioned that the rate of failure and dropout has increased compared to previous generations. The objective of the study is to identify the causes of this situation and propose strategies to improve the graduation rate of the program. A quantitative methodology was used, and surveys were applied to students in the Technical Superior University (TSU) and Bachelor's degree in Administration. The results obtained allowed determining the factors that contribute to school dropout. The article also presents statistics on the importance of financial support from parents in the academic success of students. Additionally, it highlights that the educational level of parents and the socio-economic and geographical context also influence academic performance. It is concluded that it is necessary to implement strategies to reduce school dropout and some recommendations are proposed. The document presents recommendations to decrease school dropout and increase the number of students who graduate from the Administration program. It is suggested to implement strategies such as providing customer service courses to administrative staff, improving school and student services, teaching writing and Excel courses, providing teaching materials and technological resources in classes. It is recommended to follow up on the implementation to evaluate the effectiveness of the strategies. [Extracted from the article]

This study aims to present perceptions of environmental educators about Education for Sustainable Development (EDS) and Popular Environmental Education (EAP). The result of a Postdoctoral Internship starts, at first, with an epistemological conceptual establishment of the horizons of the (EDS) and the (EAP). In a second moment, through a qualitative approach with epistemology of philosophical hermeneutics, it listens to 10 (ten) researchers in Environmental Education on the subject, 5 (five) from Brazil and 5 (five) from Mexico. The results demonstrate the difference between the projects of each educational matrix. They point to the growth of (EDS) in the region as a neoliberal policy that is already part of the National Education Plan in Brazil and the National Development Plan in Mexico. Perceptions consider the non-achievement of (EDS) objectives and suggest the adoption of (EAP) or Environmental Education for Sustainability. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The present study aimed to investigate the structural relationships between self-efficacy for learning and performance, the perceived value of the task, the perceived usability of the LMS, the perceived instructional design, flow experience and student' satisfaction, in courses adapted to the Emergency Remote Teaching modality, in a private university in Mexico. Using modeling with structural equations, evidence was found that self-efficacy has a direct effect on the flow experience, as well as an indirect effect on satisfaction, mediated by the value of the task. Furthermore, it was found that usability of the LMS has a direct effect on the flow experience, while the instructional design has a direct effect on the value of the task and on satisfaction. This article presents an editorial in which the authors discuss the application of a multiple-choice examination in the study of neuroscience in Mexico. They consider the quality and effectiveness of this measurement of medical knowledge. They also comment on the importance of a neuroscience education as a foundation for students studying physiology.
