Abstract

The article reports presence of the fish Champsodon vorax in the Aegean Sea. Topics discussed include collection of specimen of C. vorax from the sea, morphological analysis revealing meristic counts on all fins, body color found to be dark brown with blotches on dorsal fin, increased colonization rate of Champsodon in the Mediterranean sea, water circulation pattern and ambient temperature of sea being responsible for increased growth of the fish.
