Abstract

The article focuses on a study conducted to analyze the association of healthy lifestyle profile before pregnancy with a reduced risk of gestational diabetes. It is noted that female nurses who had a singleton live birth during 1989 to 2001 were icnlduded in the study. It is stated that an 83% lower risk of gestational diabetes was observed in patients who met all four criteria inclduing healthy body weight, healthy diet, regular exercise, and not smoking.
